The current theory of evolution is based on gentic mutations which eventually spawn new genes within a certain genome (entire set of genes for a specific species) exhibited in a single genotype (gentic information in a specific member of a genome).
Herein lies the reason it is a theory, for no one knows what constitutes a genome, scientists decide that but can not prove. If a new breed of dog (canis lupus familiaris), which according to modern species identification is a variation of the gray wolf species (canis lupus) but no one can say since man created species identification, appeared would it not still be the same species.
For all we know, the genome for horses is so large it includes all the species within the genus Equus (horses), which includes donkeys and zebras. This may be the reason horses and donkeys can mate but the offspring is a mule, since the genotypes are so different the remaining genotype is sterile.
Humans have changed throughout history and since the Creation. The sons of Amalek were "giants", extremely tall (example: Goliath) though they were still men. Skulls have been found from people throughout the historical era that exhibit traits similar to so-called Neanderthals, even some people today have an occipital bun (one of the main characteristics of a "Neanderthal skull")
In other words, just because science designates things in certain ways does not mean they are always right.
Matter can be destroyed it is called annihilation, it occurs when antimatter and matter collide (a positron and an electron). Besides with God all things are possible despite human capabilities.
Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Lets look at just two of evolutions claims:
Survival of the fittest
How long before the fittest were the only ones left. Would the last one to cannibalize the rest then die of starvation?
There is a fragile balance that keeps all life in check. I think it takes more faith to think that random than to believe in God.
Species adapt to gain the most benefits from their
surroundings.
Why then are there fish found in caves where no light ever reaches with fully developed eyes.
Our world is surrounded by air and the major part covered by water. Why then don't we have fins and feathers?
There are so many natural phenomenons both in life and plant forms that virtually scream creation in the face of evolution.
Who says matter can't be created or destroyed? Scientist?
People once believed the world was flat. They knew tomato's were poisonous, and they also knew man would never walk on the moon.
The whole concept of God defies explanation from the created. How can the finite explain the infinite?

If you are thinking of Goliath, he had a disease called acromegaly where the pituitary gland doesn't stop HGH or human growth hormone. Until the last 100 years or so, more recently in my opinion people eat much healthier than any time in history. Human lifespans are INCREASING rather decreasing. Survival of the fittest does not necessarily support evolution. It has practical applications outside the animal kingdom. If you could only eat 500 calories a day, what would happen to you? Some 35,000 or more children starve to death every day, that's sadly a fact of life. Evolution cannot explain your matter dilemma, only God before the beginning of time Spoke the universe into existence, scientists are trying to figure out how He did it. Give God a chance. Maybe read the Bible & go to church. It's the only way this whole mess makes sense to me.

I think that genetics plays a role in the taller/bigger question because I think that the dominant gene in tall vs. short is tall.
The variety of foods available to us is greater than it used to be. We could eat nutritiously if we wanted to. Problem is most of us give in to the temptation that is the junk food and fast food industries. We know this, but we're addicted anyhow. With increased consumption of food that is unhealthy comes a host of health problems....heart disease, diabetes, malnutrition, etc.
I think that evolution does exist on some scale because there is evidence of it (i.e tall v.s. short example). But who is to say that evolution like this wasn't God's design? Truth is that we only have imagined what the bible and science have told us, which for all we know may only be the tip of the iceberg of what really happened. You have to remember that the bible was also written for people who came before us. People who would've had no idea what evolution was because it had yet to be discovered. We don't know everything that has gone on since the world was created. Maybe God caused evolution to happen in 7 days or maybe he described it that way on purpose so that the many people who came before us could grasp the concept of creation or maybe it really did happen in 7 days.
As for matter.....if it wasn't created then how did it come to be? I really don't buy that it's always been here. I don't think that we are smart enough to have discovered the scientific reason yet.
He does work in mysterious ways. I don't think that we ever will truly know these answers. I think that these issues are meant to be "a leap of faith".

With better nutrition comes better growth(taller) and people are over weight because we do not have to work hard that often (like on a farm).
There are 4 or 5 types of evolution, How the universe started, how galaxies formed, how stars and planets formed, how life began and how one kind of animal changes. Only the last one is science, the others are theories. Because one kind of evolution is true does not mean that the others are also true.

There is micro evolution and macro evolution. I believe that God gave animals and even humans the ability to adapt to their environments this is micro evolution. For Example: wooly mammoths became the modern elephants. I do not believe that wooly mammoths could become another unrelated animal, i.e.an ostrich or even a hippo. That is macro evolution. As for lifespans I do not think that they are shorter. On the contrary we are living longer but not neccessarily healthier lives than 100 years ago. As for how God created the universe I just believe He did as nothing is impossible for God! Where are the 100's or 1000's of skeletons that should be found "proving evolution?"

Our life spans are not getting shorter. Look back in the previous centuries. People who lived to 50 were considered elderly. Now there is a higher death rate from cardiovascular disease and other symptoms of being overweight, but there have been overweight people since the Victorian ages. Romans used to eat so much that they would have to go to a "vomitorium" so that they could regurgitate and then eat more. People used to die by the score of regular illnesses that one hardly sees anymore (polio, de plague, etc.) And since matter cannot be created or destroyed, then there is no god and there was no "creation"

Unless one believes that the secrecy underlying the visionary world has a meaning, it is impossible to understand why things happens the way they are. You know that creation has a purpose and a plan, therefore any disturbance to the plan will factually lead to something else.It is this belief that make me think that our lifespan are getting shorter because of the chemicals that we are breathing in and eating. This means then that what we see to day is, and will be a result of what we are doing on this planned earth.

i was under the impression that life spans were getting longer. people in the middle ages only lived till 25 or 30.
the retirement age in america is 65 but will be changed to at least 75 because people are living longer.
people are overweight because they stuff their faces in the abundance.
zebras getting lighter would have to do with adaptation, not evolution.
again, people are living longer now, unless you're referring to the early part of genesis where they lived hundreds of years.

Hey who told you that the theory put forward by Darwin is still flawless???
No matter what the nutrition, what the limit science scales up to, the thing desitned to happen, takes place...
