If you have to go back a millennium to find fault with the church, I think that pretty much proves the Catholic Church has learned from it's, alleged, mistakes.
Let me see if I get this straight:
1) You think the Catholic Church is bad.
2) Therefore, you want it brought up on trial for all the mistakes, both real and imaged, of the past.
3) And your only "evidence" is a scientifically unsubstantiated belief that electricity could have brought about all the inventions we have today?
You can't prove that. A mere "belief" does not consititute evidence. What's more, you stll will have to prove how having the electronics of today would have prevented the mistakes, both real and imagined, of the past.
I don't think you've thought this through very well, if at all.

Yep. They certainly should. They have murdered more people than were killed in the holocaust. They burned Christians alive for declaring Jesus is head of the church and not the pope. Put the most cruelest tortute to people who would not accept RC teaching and who have believed the Bible.
Popes being murdered, ripping open the stomaches of pregnant women. Burying the babies of the nuns beaneth the convents.
And what of today, they have taken the second commandment out of their teaching, Exodus 20:4 THOU SHALT NOT MAKE UNTO ME ANY GRAVEN IMAGE OR ANY LIKENESS OF ANYTHING THAT IS IN HEAVEN ABOVE OR THAT IS IN THE EARTH BENEATH, OR THAT IS IN THE WATER UNDER THE EARTH. They have taken this scripture from their teachings and so there are still 10 commandments, they have made the 10th into two!!! can you believe the evil of these wicked people to change Holy Scripture and decieve the people and lead them into idol worship. They Make MILLIONS of dollers from the sale of idols, they cant let a bit of Gods word stop their very lucrative business now can they!
Dont believe me? Check the Vatican website!

Crusades, burning of Libraries, Geocentric theories, Banco Ambrosiano, massacres in Latin America, Loggia P2 all of them have a common name Catholic Church.
They are dying in Latin America only 10% of the people are adepts, do the same. The snake is on;y killed by the frog when is asleep, but remember the bite is deadly.

Why?
Should the US of A, Canada, UK, any country be put on trial for... make up some historic reason. there are plenty.
You live now. You complain about things going to slow forward yet you use your time looking back.....
What did I miss?

I think the Vatican has bigger things to be put on trial for, like withholding crucial information on the origin of human life, and embezzlement of millions, if not billions, of dollars from people worldwide.
