I bought a small wooden elephant the other day and I'd like to give him an authentic Indian name. I think that my elephant is a baby elephant. He has his trumpet upwards and curled back and his tail is on the right side of his bum. He's very playful and he's a prince. Please, when you suggest a name, don't forget to tell me the meaning of that name and the language it is in. Like in India there are lots of languages. I'll appreciate every answer!

You can still add names but I think my elephant's name will be Arvind Eknath. Arvind means lotus and Eknath means poet, saint.

APPU-For your Elephant as this is most popular name for an elephant in India, and also sounds stocky just like it.
One more suggestion change, you also keep a nick name for yourself i.e. MAHAVAT, the tame of the person who rides on it, it also sounds gud to.
