Total depravity refers to man's inability to be holy on their own. All men and women are born with a sinful nature and cannot do what is right in our own power. Through Adam sin entered the human nature, and we have all followed it since then.
All one needs to do is look around and see how bent mankind is for evil, how driven by pride, greed, and lust we often are.
Thus, the only way to righteousness and holiness is through faith in Jesus Christ.

The doctrine of total depravity teaches that people are by nature not inclined to love God with their whole heart, mind, or strength, as he requires, but rather all are inclined to serve their own interests over those of their neighbor and to reject the rule of God. Even religion and philanthropy are destructive to the extent that these originate from a human imagination, passions, and will.
Total depravity does not mean, however, that people are as bad as possible. Rather, it means that even the good which a person may intend is faulty in its premise, false in its motive, and weak in its implementation; and there is no mere refinement of natural capacities that can correct this condition. Although total depravity is easily confused with philosophical cynicism, the doctrine teaches optimism concerning God's love for what he has made and God's ability to accomplish the ultimate good that he intends for his creation. In particular, in the process of salvation, it is argued that God overcomes man's inability with his divine grace and enables men and women to choose to follow him, though the precise means of this overcoming varies between the theological systems.

I seek refuge in God from the accursed, The devil. In the name of God, The general Merciful, The selective Merciful,
WHO IS GOD?
In Hebrew, He is called Elah. In Arabic, He is known as Illaah [Thus Allaah]. In English He is simply known as God. So in Islam our God is Allaah.
He described Himself in the Qur’an as:
"Say: He is Allaah
The ONE and ONLY,
Allaah, The ETERNAL, The ABSOLUTE
He Begetteth not, nor is He Begotten
And there is None like unto Him.
{Qur’an 112 vs1-4]
In another part of the Qur’an, He describes Himself thus:
Allaah, None has the right to be worshipped but He
The ever Living, The One who Sustain and Protects all that exists.
Neither Slumber nor sleep overtakes Him.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth.
Who is He that can intercede with Him, except with His permission?
He knows what happens to them [His creatures] in this world, and what
Will happens to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His knowledge except that which He wills.
His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[Qur’an 2v255]
Note the various, numerous and unique qualities of Allaah and tell me who you can liken to Him?
ON JESUS [AS].
If you accept that God is Unique and Powerful. That He needs no energy or tools to affect His command. He said ‘’Let there be light." And there was light. In Islam, we believe that He needs no effort other than to say ‘Be’ and it becomes. "Kun fa ya Kun" [Qur’an 36v] and whatever He command becomes. Allaah our creator likened the miraculous birth of Jesus [as] to the creation of Adam. That as Adam was created without a father and mother and out of clay, so also was Jesus [as] created with a mother and no father. Why doubt the ability of God to do things out of His set laws? Must He create man through the spermatozoa? No, but it remains the rule. Must it be through conjugal relations? No, but that is the rule for man. Adam has neither father nor mother. Eve, created from the ribs of Adam, had a father but no mother. Jesus [as] has a mother but no father and to complete the circle, we human have both father and mother. If you believe God is Powerful and has Power over all things, then this concept will not be difficult. If you miss this, then you shall be failing a fundamental issue in the realm of faith.
IS JESUS [AS] GOD?
The answer is No. The trinity is a creation of the human mind. An import into the Christian faith; and an aberration to the believe in true God. Jesus said "Hear O Israel, the Lord, our God is One God" [Mark12: 29; Mark15v34, John8v28, 5v30, Matt5v16; 21v11, Acts3v13, Heb.7v3, St.Luke11v2]…
IS HE A SON? No, because He beget not nor is He begotten. Procreation is a symptom of human weakness. We are all tasked to measure up to be His servant. Servant is even an honor, because you can only be a slave to fellow specie. Fir instance you cannot call your dog, my slave for slave hood is the inferior of similar specie. God is not like man. However, He honors us with this- for those who can measure up in righteousness and virtue and live Godly [Read Romans 6 with care]. No disciple of Jesus [as] ever called him son; rather they address him as servant [Acts 3v13, 4v27]. Whose account weighs more between the disciples and the bishops?
Assuming we saw a reference in John 3v16, can this stand as a good proof? Well, you can be the judge. First, he never addressed himself as Son of God, rather calls himself son of man. He did say ‘my father and your father though. Well then what makes his sonship unique after all? So many sons exist in the bible even with better qualifications. See psalm 2v7; Exodus 4v22; 1Chr.22v10. see also John8v40; be the judge.
WHO DID HE WORSHIP?
Today, people do worship Jesus [as] despite all his statement to the contrary. For instance, a disciple who begged him to teach him how to pray accosted him. Rather than say ‘call on my name’ he directed the man to pray thus to God ‘who hath in heaven’ [Luke11v2.] He worshipped God by prostrating with his face to the ground- as Muslim does in solat. {Matt.26vs36-39]
HOW DID HE WORSHIP GOD?
Should it be in mind and spirit? When Jesus [as] was alive, this was the directive to some of the believers. After his mission [John9v5 and Matt. 15v24], the directive changed to worshipping in mind, spirit and body. "So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead." However, this worshipping God in body [genuflections] is not strange afterall, since God ordered all His Prophets [including Jesus [as] to worship Him so, the exempt are only the followers. Historically therefore, you would discover that from time immemorial, this muslim practice of standing [qiyam], bowing [ruku], prostration [sujud] was the norms including Jesus [as] who stated clearly that ". I have not come to abolish [the laws] but to fulfill them" Matt.5vs17-19. Take the pain to read through these references and discover how people of God hade been worshipping God. Abram [Gen.17vs1-3and Gen.24v26], Moses and Aaron [Num.20v6] Joshua [Joshua 5v14] Jeroshaphat [2Chr.20v18] Solomon [2Chr.7v1-3] Ezra [Neh.8vs1-6] Job [Job 1v20] Daniel [Daniel 6v10] David [Ps5v7] Jesus {Matt.26v39] Jesus disciples [Matt17v6] Angels in heaven [Rev.4vs10-11; 11v16 and 7v11
THE PATH.
Dear Cc., the Path is narrow and reserved for the elect. The sincere and lowly. The loving and kind. How can you know this? Try this acid test/ Cleanse yourself thoroughly; adorn a neat cloth worthy of presenting before a king. Let it cover all your nakedness= neck and toe. The find a secluded place in your room and place your head and nose on the floor. Ask God in this position to give you the truth as to His way. Like Jesus did. You shall get it.
WHAT DO MUSLIMS BELIEVE IN?
Muslims believe in the One, unique, Incomparable, Merciful God- the Sole Creator, Sustainer and Cherisher of the Universe; in the Angels created by Him’ in the Prophets through whom His revelations were brought to humankind; in the Day of Judgment and in individual accountability for actions and thought; lack of human authority over destiny, be it good or bad; and in life after death…. One becomes a Muslim by believing proclaiming, "there is none worthy of worship except God, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God." This proclamation covers all the aforesaid articles of faith.
CONCLUSION
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
All praise be to God, Lord of the Universe, the Compassionate, the Merciful, sovereign of the Day of Judgement! You alone we worship and to You alone we turn for help, Guide us to the straight path; the path of those whom You have favored; not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. Amen. [Qur’an 1vs1-7]
