Did you know how brutally Mexico treats its own illegal immigrant population?

Wow, I knew they didn't tolerate illegal immigrants, but I had no idea they were that brutal. Fox is a total hypocrite....and as for their police being corrupt that has been common knowledge for years. I still don't know why the Mexican population still puts up with the corruptness.

It's good to find people who feel the way I do. I'm not racist or anything, I just feel like you should look out for your home before someone else's. We are the only country in the world that will go out of it's way to support immigrants whether legal or illegal. The government hands out grants to immigrants while our homeless die of hypothermia or heat stroke. Our children die from childhood diseases and malnourishment. If our government stayed out of other countries affairs and handled problems at home we might be able to concur some serious issues. I love my country and wouldn't trade it in for anything but our priorities are in the wrong place. There is nothing wrong with making sure that all immigrants whether from Mexico or anywhere else are legal. I feel that if you really want to be here you should go about it the right way.

I saw that on cnn. Why should Mexico treat their immigrants any better than they treat their people But they have the right idea I think we should treat our illegal immigrants that way maybe they wouldnt immigrate as fast Thats whats wrong they come over here knowing they are goin to get a handout. and the legal citizens are left in the dust.

I've heard about it. I always wondered why so many Americans even go there on vacations and/or retire there. If the Americans would stop going as a protest, that corrupt Pres. Vincente Fox would take serious financial notice.
Lets all put Mexico on our "do not travel to" list!

Yep, of course Mexico is so corrupt that just driving down the street at the speed limit can get you pulled over and arrested if you don't have bribe money, so what do you expect.

Mexico is pathetic. It has similar land mass and natural resources to Canada and the US, but it is as bad as the worst 3rd World hell hole. That's what happens when the populace is too cowardly to fight to free their own country.

why are you surprised? Not only do illegal immigrants get treated like sh*t so do the people that live in Mexico. Honestly how do people expect Mexicans "to fight for their country" when their is no one to help them, the damn police who is suppose to protect and serve is CORRUPT I say about 1out of 3 police men in Mexico is corrupted.

That should give a new spin to all the illegals that are protesting. How hard is it to simply let the country you are entering know that you are there? It would be the same thing as a perfect stranger walking into your house without knocking.

i'm not surprised, that's why there are so many illegal immigrants, because most native people in that country aren't treated well unless they have a lot of money.

i agree its a shame and thats why we as a country must put our foots down and if they had a lick of brains they would jump on board for that instead of waving that mexican flag proudly and to one of the other posters then why do you constantly defend mexico? make up your mind is it a bad place or not ?
