Depends upon what your legal status in US is.

First of all, you do not need US companies---any company that does business in US can sponsor you---e.g. Infosys or Wipro in India, can sponsor you in the US.

Unless you have a special skill, it is very difficult. Best way is to either hire an immigration attorney or a recruiter who can, for a fee, look for employers trying to bring professionals on H1 or L1 etc. or look for special categories of visas. Otherwise, talk to a US company about sponsoring you in your field.

Before you waste a lot of time looking thru internet and being scammed, do some homework. Ask yourself---why would someone in US want to sponsor you, specially for permanent residency?

Some professions like cooks, foreign language specialists and religious teachers are always in demand. So are IT people, but only for higher applications like security, cross-border applications etc.

Good luck.
