Professional sportsmen abstain from sex the night or week before as it is believed this increases their aggressiveness. If Sex reduces aggressiveness in men why then then is abstinence encouraged as one of the virtues for those on the path of salvation in most religions ? Sex should be freely encouraged as it reduces aggressiveness which is good for salvation !!

I am always perplexed why would God a feeling so powerful and beautiful if it was to be seen as a shame and taboo ?

Your question contains the answer. Have you seen drug-addicts after they have been de-addicted? If you keep some of their favourite drugs in front of them, they will not be able to resist the temptation of 'one last go'. One of my grandpa's friends used to be like this. A single sniff of cocaine after about a year or so of being de-addicted caused him to start all over again. It led his sweetheart to desert him when she discovered it. The difference between him and other addicts lies here, in his reaction. He vowed silently never to take drugs again, but as a reminder of the damage it had done to his life, he would keep the can beside his belt. He would keep the drug with him, but would not do it.
This is how you reach salvation. You live and travel with women all the time but resist the temptation to have sex. If you can do this for more than about twelve years, you will have opened your mind to everything. You will begin to use hundred percent of your brains, and see everything in a new light. Then you will realize the ultimate truth, and you shall find ultimate everlasting happiness.

God made sex. Read the first chapter of the Bible about creation and His command to "Be fruitful and multiply..."

HE didn't mean it to be a shame and taboo.

For every beautiful thing God created, satan has an evil substitute that mocks it. But Scripture tells us "Be not decieved. God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." So in the end, satan will reap the 'rewards' of having portrayed sex as something dirty.

God created sex. It is a beautuiful thing. God made our sexual organs that way for a purpose. It is not more spiritual to abstain from sex unless you are single. Sex is to be done the way God intended it. Just like everything else man abuses God's law and the things He has given us because we all are sinners by birth. the good news is those who accept Jesus will be glorified and sinnless someday
