Well most people say that, fathers are better because they treat you more independent, but thats what men say. Some women think so to.Now here's what some men and most women say. That mothers are the best because your father walks out on you,or aboandonds you.But most people think fathers are better because they're more safistacated, and mothers just worry about the small things, like if you bathe. So what do you people think because men and women are different in every kinda way. So all im asking is who's better at parenting? And im not trying to be sexist,I just want your opinion on this question.

Neither, there are many theories, but usually children are more attached to their mothers when young, then are more interested in dad as they grow older.
Every parent is different.

First of all I think that the combination of both is the most perfect.
But that's not the question.
Off course it depends on the person, not all men are the same and neither are all women.
I know a father who is raising his child alone and he is doing a great job. Actually I think he is doing a better job then most single mothers I know. Why? Because he is more easygoing and at the same time very consequent.
Most mothers I know are far to concerned about everything. They are less relaxed and there responsibility feelings are just sometimes way over the edge. Fathers are more relaxed.
Offcourse there are a lot of mothers who are better then a lot of fathers. And vise versa. But if I make a generalisation in my group of friends, it's definately the fathers who I think are 'better'.
But again, I think a child needs two loving parents. And if they are raised by a single parent, love and safety is the most important thing for a child. No matter if the father or mother raises it.

My answer to your question is : The mother ! Because a mother and her child have a special bond between one another because of the 9 months 2gether as one ! And also there are so many mothers that are alone or is with the father but they don't help out like they should . To me your mother is always going to be there for you if it's just simple little things like falling off a bike getting a cut etc., your mother will always be by your side . Mother's have a much greater bond with their childern or child because that first moment a mother fells her unborn kick and hear it's small pea size heart beat for the first time that's what makes a mother ..a mother! When a child has to come into this world it comes through the woman and her body changes alot but nothing changes to the man! And there's a little saying i know for a fact is true and that is : The worst place in this world is between a mother and her child!!

You are right that mothers and fathers interact with children differently. That doesn't make one better than the other. Children desperately need BOTH a mother and a father. That's why it is so important for couples to stay together to raise their children. Each sex brings certain strengths to child rearing, and when they are combined the children are much better off than children raised by only one parent. Everyone knows how important a mother is to a child, but people greatly underestimate the importance of a father. Statistics prove that children raised in a two-parent home are better off financially, physically, emotionally, educationally and socially.

It can be undecided, which parent is the disciplinarian and what age are we talkin about? Mothers when they are small, fathers when they are teens. Mothers worry a whole lot more than daddies especially if you have all boys, but when you have girls I do believe they look to thier daddies more. Since we are moms WE know what goes on and try to look out for our daughters. Usually Dads are at work most of the time so when they come home from work-guess who is so happy to see you! For us moms they see us all day so it's no big thing to them. I say Daddies.

i think it is hard to honestly say .
there are some good moms and dads out there and there are some who should not be allowed to procreate . a mom now days can just walk out on her kids just as easily . or if not walk out have a drug problem that to her is more important than what her kids are doing or buying drugs with grocery money
i think in a family where you have both mom and dad in an ideal setting [ what ever that is now ] both mom and dad play a critical role in raising a child . a child learns different things from each parent.
however if you were to take statistics on how many fathers are at home living with the family and how many single moms are out there compared to how many single dads are raising their kids it would still be more moms raising kids by them selves for what ever reason .
if i were to choose one over the other i would say mothers .

I would say fathers they aren't with the kids all day long so they appreciate spending time with their child so much more. I'm a stay at home mom and love it. when I'm in a store I don't hear any fathers yelling at their kids but i sure hear the mothers yelling and screaming at their kids so I wonder what it's like for that child that is getting yelled at for taking an item off a shelf or for pulling on the cart.

it seems men and women think different because their brain respond differently for the same situations. Men's brains activity shows different traces of area's activity when compared to women's brains activity. Its said, women's brain has more activity in the area of feeling and emotion for example.
I am not sure, if this is only a theory, or if has been scientifically proved.
