Why do child molesters, Molest children?

If you ask most they'll say its because they are attracted to children, or are more comfortable with them. Some will say they were born that way, others will point to when they were molested. Simply put though, children are easier targets to manipulate and control than an emotionally healthy adult.

The logical followup question is: "what can be done for them to make them stop?"
They have to be willing to make HUGE permanent changes in their lives: who they seek out for company, what they watch on TV, etc. & FOR GOD'S SAKE- stay off the internet!
Chemical castration works for some, but as long as it's a power-based issue, dropping ones testosterone level won't do it. Counseling & support groups are the only other alternative to incarceration.
Best advice: Seek help & support if you are on either side of the the molestation equation.

they are sick bastards who apparently cannot get any from women their own age.. that or something tragic happened in their life that caused them to go out and molest lil children.. its sick and i think every child molester needs to be shot, stabbed, electrocuted, hanged, and injected. but thats my opionion.

I think its because they are insecure and maybe have some kind of childhood trauma. Many of them have also been abused.
