It depends how bad it is. I think that they use body braces to correct it or help it out.

There are two types of scoliosis, 1 postural scoliosis 2. structural scoliosis. And both type are correctable. The only difference is that postural scoliosis does not require surgery and the other one requires surgery.

When a doctor first told me that I had it he gave me two options,1st was to wear this big back brace that went from my chin to my tail bone, and the other option was to have surgery and have my spine fused.I do hope things have changed in the last 20 or so years.

Yes they have braces for your verterbral column( cervical, thoracic, lumbar), or if it's real bad you can undergo operation for it and then have a corrective brace applied. for scoliosis, lordosis, and kyphosis

Depending how old you are when they catch it, bracing can help correct it, but won't necessarily correct it 100%.

yeah as previously stated through body braces and correction surgery, can make significanlty better

Hmm, I've had it since I was nine, and back then... no.
Today, with the technology, probably, pretty sure. Very painful, though.
