Well, I being the queen of procrastination, know that if I set up mini goals for myself I am more likely to accomplish a task I don't want to do. For example, if it's something like reading...I say to myself- "Ok read for 1 hour, then put it away, for 20 minutes of so and then read for another hour." This way I get some work done for sure and still get to dillydally and waste time.

I too am very accustomed to procrastination. I have written 20 page papers for my engineering classes in one night (all nighter of course). But now I don't know how to live my life without at least a certain level of stress. So I procrastinate on purpose just so I can get the adrenaline rush. By the way I graduated college with a 3.6 GPA so procrastination isn't necessarily a bad thing. Some people, like myself, work better under pressure.

I hate doing housework, and I love playing on my computer, so, I do one task, and reward myself with time on the computer. During that time, I set the timer on my stove which is very annoying if I don't get up and turn it off. I then complete another task, and reward myself...until all the work is done.

Breath in and out. Make a list of things in a logical order that you have to do. Just do them in order and put a check mark when you finish each one. You will see how fast it will go by.

Just do it. Just kidding. Turn off all of your electronic distractions, such as TV and the computer. You are less likely to watch or play if its not available.
