The simple truth is: some men did not have very good role models growing up. In other cases, you have life imitating art, where some aspects of our culture actually glorify treating women with disrespect.
At the same time, not all the blame can be placed on the schmucks that are mistreating women. At some point, a woman needs to take a little control of her own situation and (1) demand the respect she deserves or (2) go find someone who will give it to her.
I should note that trying to "change your man" is like trying to stop a speeding freight train with a bowl of jello. You're only going to get hurt and it's gonna be messy.

The reason being is because women allow such behaviors and they allow themselves to be treated in such a way. . . from the very first time that this act happens, women should completely these men to the curb, but instead they accept their apologies and take them back, therefore, not making a change and yet condoning their behavior...

I agree with you that "some guys" are jerks and treat women like crap. However, if you don't want to attract players, you might consider changing your screen name. Lil Hot Momma is a name that would tend to attract players, don't you think?

well, men treat women like that because women let them. Change the guys you date. You choose them, it's just as much your fault as theres. Think about what attracts you to them. If they are slick, hot, rich, drive a nice car and hung like a mule, then what do you expect them to be like? Lower your standards a bit and you will find a guy that will treat you well. If those material things are so important, then you will always get the same thing.

Change the criteria which you go by to decide which guys to hang out with. It's as much the fault of the woman for letting herself be treated wrongly as it is the fault of any a$$hole who treats them badly.

well, it may just be a freak chance that some men are jerk offs AND treat women like ****. I mean, yes i agree that all women should be treated like **** so i guess it is every man's responsibility to do so . . . even the jerk offs.

Two reasons, they learned that pattern of life from their poor role models. Secondly a man is a jerk if a woman lets him treat her like one.

me too they give us guys who try to be there for woman a bad name they need schooling in how to treat a lady with respect kindness and caring
