Your cousin is a hermaphrodite...a mutation that occurs when the fetus is developing within the womb. Instead of making one genitalia and sexual organs, it made both. It is not, as someone suggested, brought on by drug use or any other kind of "misconduct"...it is a mutation that is rare, that happens for no apparent reason.
It is not brought on by God, or the Devil; it cannot be prayed away or exorcised out...it is not a punishment nor a curse. It is something that happens...and not something that happens out of evil. Your cousin, if he/she wishes to be changed, needs to go to a doctor and then choose the sex which is most prominant.
Frankly your church needs to pull its head out...there are medical mysteries that happen for reasons unknown...and you're cousin is just one of those medical mysteries. To say that there was demonic activity, or that it is a curse by God...for goodness sake, your cousin is still a person that can be loved, not prayed for because he/she is different and could opt for medical treatment. Stop treating your cousin's condition like a cancer...because there is "wrong" with him/her...he/she is special...learn to deal with that.

yes the person makes a choice about treatments ,,and the doctor tests for parts being able to work ,and hormones are tested to find out what sex is supported by the endocrine system,, and then they counsel ,,an ask ,,and see if the person wants to be what the body is telling the doctors ,,and then you have a surgury ,and pray and ask god to help you live the best way you can as a person of faith ,,and in the sex youve been forced to choose ,,so it goes sometimes ,,a rare person has a defect it isnt gods curse ,,just another thing we as humans have to pray and abide with

she should have been placed in the hands of a doctor when she was an infant, not some quack faith healer pastor who took money and did nothing. There is not much that can be done at 30 years of age, except to have gender reassignment surgery, and if she did that, she would probably be shunned by the same people who claim to want to heal her with prayers.

It used to be that the doctor or the parents would make a decision and one set of organs would be removed. This did cause some severe identity problems if the wrong gender was removed. Now ,,it is recomended that the person grow up and decide for themselves. It should become fairly evident that one gender is dominant at some point in their lives, making the decision easier(not easy,,,just easier).

if she honestly is a hermaphrodite, I'm surprised that he/she hasn't had surgery of some kind prior to now. Obviously your cousin has chosen some kind of gender to be, he/she must have some kind of personal identity (besides being the kid/person that the "family and everyone at church" has prayed about), he/she should talk to a doctor. Prayer is great for some things, but I don't think his/her extra peepee can be wished away.

Wow...where to begin. People with both sex organs are known as intersexuals (hermaphrodites). It is natural in some plants and animals, but it is a mutation in humans. Also, "God" or any other higher being does not exist. So praying will not help your cousin, only surgery will help.

your questioning god ? perhaps this was all part of a teaching you have yet to learn....that everyone is different, and that a good person , is a good person regardless of any physical challenges...cancer is an ailment your cousin isn,t ailing , unless its something psychological caused by your own families inability to accept what gods given him....there are surgeries that can correct this common deformity...but that should be (at 30 ) his choice not yours.. why do you spend so much time thinking of this ?

Am I understaning correctly that your cousin has both female and male sex organs? This is rare, but it does happen. I don't think God would do this on purpose. I'm sure your cousin can get an operation to remove one of the sets of organs.

This is a medical condition, and your prayers will not change this. She/he should consult a physician and see what surgerical procedures are available. After that, I suggest she/he get some real consulting, not nonsense you have been doing.
One more fact, man prays, God helds. It is clear that your church needs a lesson on the basics.

FROM GOSPEL OF BARNABAS,
Jesus, having withdrawn into a hollow part of the desert in Tiro near to Jordan, called together the seventy-two with the twelve, and, when he had seated himself upon a stone, made them to sit near him. And he opened his mouth with a sigh and said: "This day have we seen a great wickedness in Judea and in Israel such that my heart trembles within my breast for fear of God. Truly I say to you, that God is jealous for his honour, and loves Israel as a lover. You know that when a youth loves a lady, and she does not love him, but another, he is moved to indignation and slays his rival. Even so, I tell you, does God: for, when Israel has loved anything such that he forgets God, God has brought such a thing to nothing.
Now what thing is more dear to God here on earth than the priesthood and the holy Temple? Nevertheless, in the time of Jeremiah the prophet, when the people had forgotten God, and boasted only of the Temple, for that there was none like it in all the world, God raised up his wrath by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and with an army caused him to take the holy city and burn it with the sacred Temple, such that the sacred things which the prophets of God trembled to touch were trodden under foot by infidels full of wickedness.
Abraham loved his son Ishmael a little more than was right, so in order to kill that evil love out of the heart of Abraham, God commanded that he should slay his son: which he would have done had the knife cut. * David loved Absalom vehemently, and therefore God brought it to pass that the son rebelled against his father and was suspended by his hair and slain by Joab. O fearful judgment of God, that Absalom loved his hair above all things, and this was turned into a rope to hang him!
Innocent Job came near to loving his seven sons and three daughters [too much], when God gave him into the hand of Satan, who not only deprived him of his sons and his riches in one day, but also struck him with grievous sickness, such that worms came out of his flesh for the next seven years. Our father Jacob loved Joseph more than his other sons, so God caused him to be sold, and caused Jacob to be deceived by these same sons, such that he believed that the beasts had devoured his son, and so lived in mourning for ten years.
