Well, i definitely DO NOT think GOD made a mistake. He allowed us to have self will. I believe it is a choice, a choice that they consciously make. As it has already been said, i think that people are always looking to place blame, rather then take responsibilty for their own actions.
AND, yes, your mom and dad "made" you, but GOD CREATED you:)

I dont think its a choice to tbe gay or not. When we're in the womb we are just human, not male or female. We become that way when our DNA code triggers certain hormones to be released at certain times during our developement. Our develoment into a gender is not always perfect and sometimes people are born with both male and female traits like a strong desire fore men in a male or the intense desire to have a sex change to become female. To some degree we are all female and male at the same time each of us just have proportions of each. In the end god didn't make a mistake because god had nothing to do with it. Likewise its not a conscience decision the a person can make either. Our body chemistry is what it is and we can either be who we are or try it supress it and live unhappy.

you have some serious issues dude about life. first of all GOD don't make mistakes. and GOD does not choose the sex of the child being born, its the sperm that does that, and gay people are not born gay, it comes from sometimes being the only boy child and the mother dressing the child as a girl at a young age up to a couple years old because she wanted a girl or being the only boy with sisters and treated the same way, it has a effect on them that makes them gay, they can choose not to be that way but they are so screwed up in the brain that they lust for the opposite sex.

Some people also have homosexual tendencies for as long as they can remember. Although it hasnt been PROVEN that people are BORN gay, it doesn't mean it cant happen. And no, God does not make mistakes, so if thats the case, it happened for a reason, so maybe Christians should trust God a little more, maybe he really does know what he's doing.

Leviticus 18:22-24
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: KJV
Contrary to what the gay community wants to believe, people are not born gay or lesbian. God did not make you that way and he does not think it is ok. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!! Lets look at some scripture and see what God has to say.
No I am not a bigot, nor homophobic. I am a believer in the Holy word of God, and If the bible says its wrong, It is wrong. If you are read this and thinking hate you will feel hate.

If you believe in God, and you believe that Gays were also created by God, then He/She must have a plan and made Gays for a reason. I know a lot of Gays, and not one of them ever said that they "chose" to be that way. How about stop judging others for being different and live your life without tainting your soul with such hateful thoughts and judgments. The Bible was written a long time ago by very faulted and ancient people, why continue with such lunacy?

God said, "’Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants." (Lev 18:22-25)
The Bible is clear and on this topic God leaves no middle ground. The practice of homosexuality puts an impasse between people. On the one hand, homosexuals want acceptance and "freedom" to fulfill any sexual desire, but many heterosexuals want freedom from the immoral influence of homosexuality for themselves and their children. How can the needs of both be met while sharing the same land? Homosexuality is a deviation caused by the curse of sin. It is real, not imaginary. It is incredibly powerful. I have no doubts that for some, homosexual tendencies began early in life. Homosexuality affects people of every nation, race and religion and this sexual deviation is a behavioral sign of the end. Just as Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for defiant sexual immorality, the entire world will suffer the same fate.
Let me make this point clear. A person who is homosexual is not unlike any other sinner. He/she has a soul to be saved and is due Christian kindness and charity. The need of a Savior is no less for the homosexual than any other sinner. However, salvation belongs to those who overcome sin through faith in Christ. The power unto salvation includes power over sin! (Rom 6:9-18, 1 Cor 6:9-11) The only cure for homosexuality is the same cure for every sinner – a miracle, the miracle of rebirth! Pray for those individuals who have adopted the homosexual lifestyle. Instead of judging the individual, pray for victory over a besetting sin. May the Holy Spirit speak to their hearts and help them grasp the divine condemnation that rests upon this sinful course of action!

God does not make mistakes - nor do I think being gay or a lesbian or bisexual is a mistake - it is no different than white man, black man and red man God made no mistakes there either - God gave us diversity so that we would have something to talk about - I do not think he meant for us to be hating on each other though - sad to see people who claim to be religious be so non christian by forgetting that WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN no mater creed, color, sex or sexuality!

Look at it this way:
God made Adam and Eve. Eve at the forbidden fruit.
To make Eve pay, God gave her the menstrual cycle.
To make Adam pay, He gave Eve PMS so Adam had to suffer for it.
God is just pissed because gay people found a loophole.
Oh yeah, and do you make a choice to like a food or not? Not really, you just don't like it because your tastes disagree...that's how it is being homosexual, your tastes just don't agree with the opposite sex.
And another thing now that I think of it...first we have to believe in the Christian God to believe he created us...he didn't create me, that's for sure.

sexuality is formed within the first two years of life. before puberty even... it does not change. if your brain was bisexual at age two, you are going to be attracted to both sexes at puberty and at age thirty, hetero - likewise, homo- likewise, trauma and abuse (ie: conversion therapy) does not change someone's sexuality but it can cause them to become CONFUSED about sexuality and feelings towards someone they wouldn't ordinarily be attracted to. furthermore gender is not based on the "obvious body part". some people are born with ambiguous genitalia or with chromosomes mismatched to their "obvious body part". My experience has been that people don't blame this on God. But blame your woeful and ignorance on people like you or smh73448. Lucky for you as long as you ask Christ to forgive your sins you don't have to know the intricate details of all the harm you've caused others along the way. Gays and the intergendered have suffered too much and too long. Ultimately there is no excuse for this kind of ignorance among people claiming to bring the light of salvation for the world through Christ with them in the spirit. None whatsoever.
