No no no...keep the mirror open... you never know, you may not be so stupid in the other dimension.

I've never had to worry about taping mirrors to get back from another dimension. Mind you when I astral travel I tend to know where it is that I am going and why I do it. You would need to leave some sort of spiritual trail not a physical one unless you can keep one foot in this plane while on another so to speak.

the tricky part is getting the tape on without slipping through you never know the precise moment when it can happen an just standing in front of a mirror can transpot you to an alternate reality or dimension be very carefull please and is it that important to have a mirror .and if monkeys had mirrors would they have developed self awarness or any other animal given time around a mirror may be what has made us so self conscience.better just get rid of the mirrior.

Yes, blue electrical tape works well, and compliments many color schemes nicely.
Most alternte dimensions are actaully fairly limited in extent and circular in shape. If you just run in any direction long enough, you'll end up back where you started, and be able to simply walk back through your mirror.
Hopefully, no one replaced the tape while you were gone!

Now why wouldn't you want to step into another dimension? yes put tape on all your mirrors, make sure to use same color scheme as the rooms,unless you dont want anyone to know where you are hiding ... to cross back again, follow the door knobs...

What, like that black and yellow tape - "Police Line - Do Not Cross"? If you're that concerned maybe you shouldn't have mirrors in your house.
