Christian wisdom is what Christians think they have when they hardly have any at all. If one truly seeks wisdom, then follow the paths that others have traveled before you.
Solomon wanted wisdom and knowledge so that he could be a good king over God's people. Because of this, God gave him wisdom and many other gifts. Now we can turn to scripture because it says...
1 Kings 4:30 Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 For he was wiser than all men, than Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, Calcol and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was known in all the surrounding nations.
32 He also spoke 3,000 proverbs, and his songs were 1,005.
And this is verified in the book of Proverbs...
1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel
So when one desires wisdom and yet God isn't granting any, then walk the paths others have done so before you. You see, If God has already dont something, He's not going to waste His time doing it again. He has already given wisdom - its your job to find it.
Therefore -
God gave wisdom to Solomon. Solomon wrote the book of Proverbs.
If one wants wisdom, then study and learn from the book of Proverbs.

elle009,
Wisdom is the proper use of knowledge or understanding. Having knowledge and understanding on some level is common, but spiritual wisdom is trickier and requires a working knowledge or understanding as well as correct timing.
It requires much greater dependence upon, and sensitivity to, the Holy Spirit to say or do the right thing with the right motivation at the right time.
How do you get it?
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, Who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. James 1:5-8
God bless.

I think you might be referring to a wisdom of the Bible or an understanding of profound truths found therein. Many Christians believe that, upon salvation, Christians have their eyes opened, so to speak, and can understand more complex aspects of Christianity. (ie. the Trinity, Heaven, Hell, salvation by faith). As far as wisdom in general, God once told King Solomon that he would grant him one wish and Solomon asked for wisdom. This is the greatest undeniable account of God granting someone wisdom in the Bible, but beyond suggesting that people pray for wisdom and read the Bible, the Bible does not outline clear instructions for receiving wisdom.

In order to attain wisdom from God you have to ask him for it in prayer.

I am sorry Hon, but that almost sounds like an Oxymoron. You can only attain wisdom from your own pursuits and education. God will not give it to you, you have to find it yourself through life experience.

For (Job 28:1-28) the ways of divine wisdom in afflicting the godly are inscrutable: all that is sure to man is, the fear of the Lord is wisdom (Job 28:28).

There is only Wisdom - not christian wisdom.
Finding your own self is the greatest wisdom.
After all, God is our creator and go to him for the beginning.
He will guide you further

Yahaveh is wisdom and knowledge. All wisdom comes from Him. Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you.
Its all in the volume of the Book.
