Place your alarm clock across the room far away from your bed. When it goes off, you have to get up to turn it off. This worked well for me. If you can sleep through an alarm, set your alarm to play the radio when it goes off. However, make sure the radio is set to a station you totally loathe and would NEVER listen to. That way, you will be more inclined to get up quickly to turn it off. Now, once you are up, turn on the lights and splash cold water on your face. Voila! You're up and ready to start your day.

Sleeping early definately helps.I know if you get used to waking up early, you'll just start getting up, maybe before the alarm clock. Once your body is used to getting up, you won't need an alarm clock anymore. Setting your alarm clock 5-10 minutes ahead helps too.

Drinks lots of water before you go to bed. This is how the Native Americans used to conduct early morning raids on other tribes. However, this technique may wake you earlier than intended.

Before you sleep tell yourself that you need to get up at say 6am tomorrow.Clearly visualise in your mind that you have got up at 6am.Your subconscious will do the rest.
Another way is put an alarm clock far away from you so that you will have to wake up & walk ,to shut it.Cheers.

Force your body to wake up early no matter what time you sleep (ie, by setting up an alarm clock) then slowly, your body might get used to it

My best advice would be to put your alarm clock away from your bed, so that you actually have to get out of bed and walk a few steps to turn it off. Mine is about 10 feet away from my bed
