it has absolutely nothing to do with 'jesus', when you count all the people who have toast tommorrow morning, then multiply it by three months. In that amount of time you have toast that looks as tough it looks like something cool or famous + a person who can clearly see it and thinks of a person stupid enough to buy it. I once had a piece that looked like oregon that was bordered with nevada, looked pretty convincing, but i ate it, lol. The point is that it is probably a 1:500,000 odds to have a cool piece of toast, but most people dont care.

I think the question is why are people so hungry for a sign? Why do they need a sign of Jesus in anything to affirm their faith? I don't understand what is reassuring about seeing an image of Jesus or anyone else on toast, the side of a building, or a cinnamon bun. But people are looking for hope, and reassurance.

I think a lot of that "I saw Jesus in my toast" stuff is people's eyes playing tricks on them. You can see anything if you want to see it badly enough. I was looking at the wall in my store's back office yesterday and there was a mark on it that looked like an angel, a cartoonish angel. I can also see faces in the sheets of the drop ceiling in my apartment at times if the light hits them just right. It's most often illusion, different shapes and patterns that for a moment look like something else. I really don't think it's anything to get excited over.

Why would Jesus put his image on anything Earthly, when he is totally spirit: No people are just looking for signs that Jesus lives, and lacking in true faith. There was never any paintings made of Jesus when he walked the Earth: He was a Jew,and that is the closest we could come to knowing what he might look like.

Greedy trash will say anything for a buck! That crazy story about the Savior on burnt bread has basically started a mini-industry. U can get laser-engraved toast, among other novelties!
It sounds like a fun idea, looks cool but it all comes out the same! LOL
The oyster shell is remarkably strange...

I think that's usually someone's ingenious attempt to create something that will make the news and be worth some dough on eBay. No. I don't think that Jesus would show himself in the butter burnings on the underside of a slice of bread. And I agree; if he WERE to show himself in some sort of carb-based food, I do think he would prefer a bagel. Blueberry.

This phenomena would seem akin to idol worship, or simply curiosity and getting attention. At the least it is a comedy. Unfortunately, too many leave their households, their children, their work and life, to stand in awe of a so called Miracle. People need something to take them away from the sadness in their lives but most of all they need Hope that this Sign will make life better very soon. There really are 'signs' everywhere and miracles happen every day, we just need to open our hearts to see them.

Alot of people are searching for a sign, instead of believing by faith.
I don't believe in apperitions of Mary either, especially in the side of a rock.
the toast is utterly rediculous, and these people are trying to make a quick buck.
Who knows what Jesus even looked like?
