Go the the candy aisle...look at all the candies that you like, and see what has the least saturated fat (in grams). In general, enjoy the candies that you love, but eat in moderation. A full length candy bar normally has TOO many calories with no health benefits. Just don't ever get full with candy and eat it only as a treat. Get the fun sizes to control your moderations.
A lot of sugar candies (non-chocolate) do not have fat and advertise normally as "FAT-FREE!" as if it is such a big deal. It's not a big deal because if your body takes in a lot of carbs (sugar) it will want to turn it into fat anyway. It's somewhat false advertising. Once again, the best bet is moderation.
I have seen many sections of candy aisles that have the "healthy" candies. Advertising less sugar or something like that. I normally don't bother because "less" anything means it'll taste like crap. Why not eat what you like that has 15x times the fat and less of it? You'll savor the moment more compared to feeling sick after eating bags upon bags of candy.
If all else fails on deciding what and how and when to eat candy, then go eat FOOD that you normally love first...particularly something healthy. Eat your candy after...you won't feel so hungry then for a lot of candy.
Yeah, so I didn't really answer the question. I just wanted a moment to be on a soapbox.
