I know that Jesus is my savior, and he was sent by God to atone for the sins of the world, past present and future. I'm a sinner and a hypocrite, and I know it. I have a relationship with God, I don't only pray when I need something, I talk to him and thank him throughout the day. I don't know if I'm going to heaven, Cause I have great sin in my life, I have asked for forgiveness, but I know I will be judged for it. I fear God,and know through him anything is possible and without him nothing is possible. I love life, and I have a great understanding that God is always ready to take on my worries and problems, I need only ask. I am very Blessed with all that he has given me. I am not my own, I belong to him.

I am not a Christian, I am a follower of Christ. Christian is a term that has been so degraded that it holds no meaning.
I am a follower of Christ in the way that I believe, I communicate, I learn, and I follow.
I believe in God.
I communicate my beliefs to others, and I pray.
I learn by reading the Bible and also upon scientific reasoning that will prove/disprove the Bible. (I read through theorys and concepts that people argue against the Bible, because I have my own questions, and non believers do too.)
I follow God's word in my daily life. I try to live by basic Bibical principals. (Which is hard.)
"10As it is written:
'There is no one righteous, not even one;
11there is no one who understands,
no one who seeks God.
12All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.'"

Yes. Because I believe in Jesus, the Messiah, who died for my sins.
I also believe in goodness, kindness, generousity, peace, and love.
Galatians 5
Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

yes. Key is to follow the teaches of Jesus Christ. You believe you are a sinner. You believe salavation only comes through Him. And that He is the son of God. These are the key ones.
Though their are many many other ideas and statements such as
that Jesus fufills the promises of the old testement.

I was christened without my consent.
I was confirmed very young without having being explained what my choices were.
And I was taken to church every sunday against my will.
The interesting thing is that this was supposed to make me a christian.
Until I decided to openly declare myself an atheist in self defense.

Never have, never will. Too much bending for their own use to be trusted. Also it enforces that you have to go through a man to get what you want. Why not be able to reach for your own.
