You have obviously never heard of creation science and are lacking in common sense and a desire for the truth. Only fools believe what they are fed by the government and the media. If you want to believe that you are nothing but a descendant of a chimp then I honestly feel great pity towards your naivety. Look up Creation Science and look into both sides of the argument before you pick a side.

well if you did more research, science actually points towards an intelligent creator. so no, religion will never go away bc it's the right way. and........if you're talking common-sense...is it really common sense that we got to where we are today from a first single living cell that just came from nothing? no..that's not common-sense. it's ignorance.
and i really dont think we are made of carbon and water. that's just dumb. how would i have my feelings and ability to reason, and ability to be unique from everyone else and be more than just a physical body? yeah......def. more than that. why would anyone even want to believe we're only made from carbon and water and will return to that? i'd rather just give in and believe in a god.

Yes they are fading away now, thank goodness. Advanced humans throughout history have tried to explain the unseen and our blueprint and past. When you try to hold on to older teachings specifically for people of that timeframe is when you get into trouble. Science and spirituality will meet with true answers to all those questions as we get more answers at the quantum level of being.

One religion will always replace another. People get frustrated and look for structure in their lives. When you live spiritually, it is the biggest part of your life in which you can really apply that structure.
I am afraid there will always be some sort of religion due to the fact that science can not explain everything.

Take the income to humanity contained in the unbelief no longer yet finished, yet now often preponderant, contained in the dogma that affliction, pestilence, and famine were manifestations of divine anger, the end results of that ought to neither be prevented nor prevented. The Christian church homes have executed little or no longer some thing to dispel this superstition. The valid and licensed prayers of the vital denominations, even to-day, reaffirm it. present day be taught of the guidelines of wellness, experiments in sanitary improvements, more effective careful purposes of medical information, have proved more effective efficacious in combating or diminishing plagues and pestilence than have the intervention of the priest or the practice of prayer. those in England who carry the old faith that prayer will suffice to treatment affliction are to-day termed "extraordinary human beings," and are each now and then indicted for manslaughter at the same time as their ill little ones die, because the moms and dads have relied on to God as a substitute of pleasing to the components of technology. -- Charles Bradlaugh (1833-1891)

No. Religion has been with us since pre-recorded times and will be with us until the end times. Even Einstien believed in God.
