Ifyou trully love your cat, you will not continue with this practice of bathing together, or bathing your cat too much at all.
Cats are natural groomers and do not require regular bathing like some other pets, many soaps can be harmful and cause irratition to the skin. Your cat not liking it should be your indication that this should'nt be part of it's daily hygene. I would suggest you get a rubber ducky, instead of your kitty.

Hehe. It's sort of weird, but it depends on the cat. I have one cat that loves water, even though he tries to put on a good show for the other cats and pretend he hates water. But I don't think he would like taking a bath with me. I don't think many cats like to be submersed.

Hmmmmmmmm........ odd
My Norwegian Forest Cat used to love to sit in the hot tub with me. She would occasionally take a dip in the bath tub as well, but she always went in on her own and didnt have to be taken against her will.

Strange, but my cat loves to come in the shower with me. I think maybe she's into the steam or something. She sits behind the curtain and meows and meows until I pick her up and bring her in with me. She doesn't like be right under the water, but she seems to be okay with getting kinda splashed from the water bouncing off of me. I thought it was weird, too.

how in the world can you enjoy taking a bath with your cat? Its hard enough bathing the poor animal with four paws filled with super sharp claws...unless she is declawed.

I've heard of other people who take a baths with their pets. Personally I wouldn't do it but in your case I guess it'd be ok.
