My husband is from the UK........he had excellent credit.......we asked around and found it didn't transfer to America when he moved....so he skipped out on a loan. Once he got over here.....he had NO credit history AT all good or bad......so we had to get him a secured card and start all over again. And his sister moved from UK to Australia and had to start over again as well. We had a friend who worked at a bank in England and he assured us it wouldn't follow and he was correct.

So if Canada is like those examples....I don't believe your credit will follow you. They don't use Social Security in Canada (that is an American system only contrary to popular belief) so there is no real way to trace you. Of course a name search could be done but frankly not very accurate or cost effective. GOOD LUCK
