I am 26 yrs. old male, unmarried. I used to very voluminous curly hair till just two years back. Now, they have started falling on regular basis. They mostly fall when I take a shower, shampoo and comb them otherwise they are just fine. Please suggest me something so that I can stop this receding hair line. Also, suggest which shampoo I should use as well as whether I should oil my hair or not because they are very dry and unmanageable without oil. And yes the curl has not gone yet and they act frizzy some time. Please help this is an SOS.

Whatever you do No oil. That's the worst thing. it will lay on your scalp and clog your follicles. Most of the shampoos that are suppose the grow hair just really clean your scalp. I know of a good shampoo you can use, if you can find it. It is only sold in a salon and is called Genesis. It will take it about 2 months before you see any result. What it does is, it cleans your scalp real good, stops your hair from falling out, then next after a month or so, you will see little sprouts of hair pop up. They are like baby hairs. these hairs are weak to start with, but they count.. never use anything other than Genesis on your hair during treatment or it will just coat you scalp and put you behind. Genesis has a line of styling products and even conditioner that will not coat your scalp. I recommend you see if they have a moisturizing mousse as well. Don't use too much.
One more thing is this is a shampoo recommended to chemotherapy patients after their treaments to help with their hair to not fall out as much and to also growe back quicker. The shampoo is about 12.95 for 8 oz. or therabouts. hope you can find it.

First of all get your scalp checked. If there is nothing wrong with your scalp then your condition is most likely hereditory. You cannot stop your hair from falling. There is no shampoo to stop hair loss. You can start taking Propecia for that but there is no guarantee. Hairtransplant surgery is really advance and you may consier it down the road.
