Call and have them send you a new one, and also you can slip a piece of a plastic bag over the strip and have them slide it through like that, that usually works.

Have the credit card company send you a new card to replace that one. Doesn't cost you anything.

you can't. you call your credit card company and ask for a replacement card. any attempts to fix it would be considered tampering and after you tampered with it and tried to use it, a smart clerk or shop keeper would call your credit card company and you'd have problems.

You can't. That is normal wear and tear. Contact the card issuer and request a replacement.

Sometimes if you rub a plastic bag on it you might be able to get it to work again.
