My First Christmas In Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars,
reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear
For I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart
But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.

So be happy for me. dear ones, you know I hold you dear,
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift, from my Heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.

After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep and keep each other, as my Father said to do.
For I can't count the blessing or love he has for each of you.

So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

2. He'll See Them Home
Don't despair so of your children,
God will bring them to the fold -
Because He died to save them,
They're special to the Lord.
He knows how much you love them,
He loves them even more.
As long as you hold on in prayer,
He'll not close the door.
Even now He sees your tears,
And He whispers tenderly,
Of love that conquered all -
That men might be free.

So lay them at His alter,
Let go and leave them there -
God will be faithful to your trust,
He won't withhold His care
His hand will ever nurture,
No matter where they roam -
And He won't be satisfied
Till He sees them safely home!

Crossing the Bar by Alfred, Lord Tennyson

I thought I saw your face today,
in the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Her work on earth is done."

I thought I heard your voice today,
then laugh your hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace dear one at last."

I thought I felt your touch today,
in the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."

I thought I saw my broken heart,
in the crescent of the moon.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The Lord is coming soon."

I thought that you had left me,
for the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She left you with her love."

I thought that I would miss you so,
and never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She's with you every day."
"The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars,
will forever be around,
reminding you of the love you shared,
and the peace they've finally found.

Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart,
And all is darkened in the vale of tears,
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears.
Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.

Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.

Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise
On earth, be leaving, to Thy Lord on high;
Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways,
So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye.
Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine
Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.

A Christian man at close of day,
Called all his loved ones near;
And said to them, I go away,
Yet death I do not fear.
I leave you here in this world below,
Where trials often come;
And to my resting place I go,
To sleep within the tomb.

And you who have not sought God's grace,
Come seek his face today;
And find in Him a resting place,
Before I go away.

And so, dear ones, I leave you now,
Within my Father's care;
And to His will just humbly bow,
And breathe His name in prayer.

I'm going home to die no more
To live with Christ, my Lord;
And dwell on that Celestial shore.
I'm trusting in His Word.

O angel band, your voice I hear,
You soon shall bear me o'er;
Old Jordan's waves I do not fear,
I'm nearing Canaan's shore.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod
and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of
mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Oh how she did not pass
Without peace in mind
And how she now loves
With God by her side.
