you don't want to know

It would definitely make me more confident, but anger can create irrational behavior, so not having a gun to make a terrible mistake with is probably better.

So, if I had a gun, I might end up getting rid of it eventually. I have, in the past, bought stuff and regretted it.

I would probably refer to it any time I feel afraid, such as if I'm sleeping and I hear a noise come from the living room or some movement outside, but people have accidentally shot relatives, just because they referred to their gun too hastily.

If I had a shiny gun,
I could have a world of fun
Speeding bullets through the brains
Of the folk who give me pains;

Or had I some poison gas,
I could make the moments pass
Bumping off a number of
People whom I do not love.

But I have no lethal weapon-
Thus does Fate our pleasure step on!
So they still are quick and well
Who should be, by rights, in Hell.

I would carry it for self-defense from bad guys and wild animals (which in this state a person has a better chance of being attacked by because the bad guys know there's a good chance that everyone is armed).

I train with my pistol regularlly. Hunt pheasent and deer for food.

What else is there to do.

I have a gun. It is being kept for my self defense, should I ever be attacked in my house. I have occasionally taken it to a shooting range for practicing.

I have never had, nor held a gun in my life....It's illegal here in Canada ..and I have no desire to do anything with a gun...I find the whole idea repulsive.
