As true as anything else written in the bible.

The bible is always true. If you write in it, it is just your thoughts unless the Holy Spirit gave you special insight. If God revealed more clarity to you and you highlight something and write a couple side notes. It probably is true what you wrote too. If you are adding to God's Word and writing something contrary to His Word then you are a liar and what you wrote is not true. God's Word is still true.

I question God if I write anything in it and get the assurance from God if it's OK. I love to highlight verses God highlighted to me personally in my understanding.

No. If you make a note in your Bible it is not equal with the Word of God itself. If you write something thats not true it is still not true.

hahahahaha!!!
well, considering the bible has been translated A LOT, and since i do not personally know any of the translators, I guess any thing you would write would have just as much validity as what they wrote.

and if popular vote counts, well, millions of people believe the bible is all true
I guess if you could get it PUBLISHED in your own translation in another 100 yrs, millions of people will take your word as ...well, gospel truth...lol

The Bible has been altered thousands of times, you'll add some more, what's the difference.
They tried hard but couldn't remove the name and prophecy of the last prophet Muhammad from it. http://www.answering-christianity.com/open_challenge.htm

It depends on what you write of course. If you write the word "fiction" on the front cover, it certainly helps.

read the last page of the bible....

Revelation 22:18
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

Revelation 22:19
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
