How can a logical being believe, BY CHANCE, that the earth was created from either a big bang or a microbe that just happened to be one day that happened to turn into a fish, that just happened to turn into a monkey? Why are we not seeing ape-man creatures coming out of the forests. Shouldn't things still be evolving into humans? We are far more complex than, lets say a wind up wrist watch. If you took that wrist watch all apart, threw it into a drawer and shook the drawer for 10 trillion years. Would the parts of the watch just happen to find all the right places and then wind up itself and run? Logically, I think not. What is your reasoning?

The answer is simple, you have the wrong perception of what evolution states.

If you take the time to study the details instead of simply repeating ridiculous strawmen charlatans like Dr. Dino propagate, you'd know that this cartoonish depiction of evolution is nothing more than a deception aimed at people with no real interest in understanding. By the way, perhaps we are seeing ape-man creatures and just haven't recognized it for what it is:

You should be embarassed by your ignorance. If you knew more about the theory, I'm sure you wouldn't have had to ask this question.

I don't think you understand the concepts of probability and time. Try to imagine infinity..... never-ending different arrangements of molecules in infinite positions in different locations. The environment creating infinite situations and "picking" those arrangements that "work."

"If you took that wrist watch all apart, threw it into a drawer and shook the drawer for 10 trillion years. Would the parts of the watch just happen to find all the right places and then wind up itself and run?" Yes. That is exactly what evolution is. Those parts could also come together in a different way to make something entirely different (selection pressure nonwithstanding).

It's very unlikely that we could see something evolve in our lifespans, let alone into humans.

The whole "If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes?" argument is lame. With that logic, that means that every person on this planet should look almost exactly the same.

Evolution makes more logical sense than some big, invisible
dude making man out of dirt.

And an interesting evolution fact is that, back in the 1800's, the typical hight of man was 5', now the typical hight is 6'! That means, over the course of 100 years, man has evolved to be taller. What's more is that we're still evolving. We're more intelligent than we used to be, let's say, in the 1950's.

However, who's to say that the higher power didn't create evolution?

Because a logical person can look at the evidence and add 2+2+2+2+2+2+2 and so on to a LOGICAL conclusion.

How could a person honestly believe that a 400 year old man built a wooden boat and gather 2 of every billion species of animal on the planet to survive a worldwide flood? That's logical?

There is only one answer..Each side is so sure that it is right that logic tells us that there must be two races of people.
God people that are created in the image and likness of God with a higher level of intelligence and thinking that is bestowed by God himself..
Primate people, that have evolved (they say) from ape like beings and they insist that they are these primate people. The way that they act I do not doubt their honesty. We can only pray for them and try to reason with them as they evolve to a higher plane that maybe some day they can understand...

Anyway that is the only answer that makes sense. Here they are all vehemently arguing that they came from apes by some great chance. How in the world can we oppose them in their quest to be better primates..

The one idea you need to consider is the enormous time frame. How can life not change? Beings with a shorter life span are evolving before our eyes, like viruses just to name one. And why do people live longer now? Women are giving birth later in life and as far as evolution goes that is our sole purpose so our women and men are evolving to accommodate. So if we wanted our kids and their kids to live longer lives then all we have to do is have children later and later in life. In the future people may be able to live for 150 to 200 years, that is unless they smoke.

Well evolution in a more micro sence...if you have a room half full with brown eyed people and half full of blue eyed people, and only the brown eyed people reproduce, the next "generation" of people would all have brown eyes.... and we all know about those brown eyed people... they are full of $#!7... people believe in evolution because they have to have something against religion... it's religion vs. something... if there was no evolutionary theory then it'd be something else for people to put their beliefs in... a waste of time i know... One thing i think is hilarious is that evolution would take millions of years to acomplish... yet still there aren't any inbetween fossils of anything... yes birds might get bigger beaks or whatever... but i wasn't a worm once before :)

Whatever. Believe that you are descended from a bit of dust and a rib if you like. The watchmaker analogy is a lame one. I could understand it MAYBE if we came from boxes. You are leaving a lot of things out to suit your own agenda. None of evolution just happened "one day". You need to get your own logic checked, and do a little more research before you throw statements like that around.

Maybe the ones that believe in evolution are the ones that think that someone just stole Jesus's body from the tomb in order to trick everyone. Maybe theones that believe in evolution are the ones that just say there are too many holes in the Bible story. Opinions vary. That is what makes America great.

so that you attempt to make a case for a slender, literal interpretation of the creation tale. Does the Bible no longer say that 1000 years is as an afternoon to God? Did Jesus no longer communicate in parables to allow for more effective positive information of the actual factors of the message? contained in the Christian view, isn't it more effective positive to believe that God had a hand in turning out to be the international as clinical theories prepare as antagonistic to believing God had no longer some thing to do with it in any respect?
