Leviticus 18
The LORD told Moses
to tell the people of Israel: I am the LORD your God!
So don't follow the customs of Egypt where you used to live or those of Canaan where I am bringing you.
I am the LORD your God, and you must obey my teachings.
Obey them and you will live. I am the LORD.
Don't have sex with any of your close relatives,
especially your own mother. This would disgrace your father.
And don't disgrace him by having sex with any of his other wives.
Don't have sex with your sister or stepsister, whether you grew up together or not.
Don't disgrace yourself by having sex with your granddaughter
or half sister
or a sister of your father or mother.
(SEE 18:12)
Don't disgrace your uncle by having sex with his wife.
Don't have sex with your daughter-in-law
or sister-in-law.
And don't have sex with the daughter or granddaughter of any woman that you have earlier had sex with. You may be having sex with a relative, and that would make you unclean.
As long as your wife is alive, don't cause trouble for her by taking one of her sisters as a second wife.
When a woman is having her monthly period, she is unclean, so don't have sex with her.
Don't have sex with another man's wife--that would make you unclean.
Don't sacrifice your children on the altar fires to the god Molech. I am the LORD your God, and that would disgrace me.
It is disgusting for a man to have sex with another man.
Anyone who has sex with an animal is unclean.
Don't make yourselves unclean by any of these disgusting practices of those nations that I am forcing out of the land for you. They made themselves
and the land so unclean, that I punished the land because of their sins, and I made it vomit them up.
Now don't do these sickening things that make the land filthy. Instead, obey my laws and teachings.
(SEE 18:26)
Then the land won't become sick of you and vomit you up, just as it did them.
If any of you do these vulgar, disgusting things, you will be unclean and no longer belong to my people. I am the LORD your God, and I forbid you to follow their sickening way of life.
(SEE 18:29)
Good luck hun

No it is not ok to have a sexual relationship with a step sister. Even though they do not have the same blood line it would make life difficult especially when the end of the relationship came, they would still see each other and it would be awkward for the rest of their lives. Out of respect for your parents as well as yourself don't do it. Could you imagine marrying and your sister is your wife and you have to introduce your (our) parents and what a mess for the children you would someday have, not to mention the family tree. Save everyone grief and find someone else. Relationships are hard enough without bringing extra baggage to the table.

There is no blood line between them, They could marry if they so desired, If it is just sex they both want it could cause life to get real complicated. As far as the preacher above I think he misunderstood the scriptures just a little. I think that passage was referring to half sisters. I would just be extremely safe about it and try not to get jealous when she wants someone else, Could she do the same? Who knows, so your friend and his step sister had really better talk a very very long time and see just what they really want. If they can handle just a sexual relationship with no strings it could be great. It could also blow up in their face and ruin life for everyone in the house. So it really comes down to just what they can handle and what they want. Me I'm sex crazy I would have to try it, especially as you said she is hot. Man talk about walking on a razors edge, hope your friend and step sister don't fall.

Yep, I agee best for him to break off the friendship , it has no place in your marriage...he may be keeping up the contact since he has some doubt that you two will stay together and if not he has her to fall back on...you were right in every thing you did...he has to show you that you are the most important thing to him in his life...the whole texting thing is very inappropriate and total disrespects you as his partner...if you think this will eventually drive a wedge between the two of you then get some therapy for the both of...which is not bad advice ...your situation is common and helping to improve your relationship should be important to the both of you with out questions or hesitations...good luck.
