think my poor diet is affecting my health because I'm losing hair like crazy. My problem is I don't know where to start to fix this problem. I want to try and gain a bit of weight but more importantly I want to eat healthy so I can get my pretty hair back. anything to guide me in the right direction??

yes, it matters alot, the next things can be even worse, see a doctor, its not healthy, SEEK HELP, its REALLY HARD, teehee

If you want to gain a little weight, i suggest eating more of the healthful foods. good nutrition will help you hair come back, but it will take some time.

Your diet effects your hair tremendously. Your hair is a waste product of your body as are you finger nails. You may also think about exercise. Blood flow to the scalp is what deposits the waste to the follicle.

i feel for ya'. i had a similar situation not too long ago. i have improved with really getting alot of protein (fish, chicken, eggs, peanut butter etc). i also take a multivitamin daily and get lots of calcium. just to be safe though do try to see a doc and they may do some bloodwork to see if there are any other issues.

You've got to go see a nutritionist. If you keep this up, you will also start looking drawn, and doing bad things to your skin, and lack of vitamins also does bad things to your teeth. A nutritionist can help you out alot. Good luck.

a lack of vitamins will affect your hair. Also any medication you may take will affect it too. I have been told vitamins a & b will help hair, however I would take anything until you discuss it with your dr. you can od on vitamins too.

Take vitamins a woman's vitamins, for hair , nails and skin, this will help you and drink lots of water. God bless.

Your hair need protein, so eat nuts. Even my nails got better when I changed what I ate.
