slots pay out about 85% of the money they take in. That means that for every dollar you put into a slot machine, you are effectively losing 15 cents.
for craps, the same thing applies, but it's more like 3-5 cents per dollar you bet.
If you knew all that and you were just looking for a non-considered edge, you can always try looking at all the slot machines in the casino to see if you can find any discarded credits. I've found like $20 just walking around the casino looking at the slots while waiting for my buddies to finish in the poker room (something which Mohegan Sun doesn't have which is why I will never go there).

yes first tip, dont eat there the food generally sux. a ten minute drive to the mohegan sun and u can go to big bubbas barbq which i highly recommend. Alaso they have michale jordans steakhouse too but a little pricey.
As for gaming i prefer foxwoods though i cant stand mohegan although quite big they arent what foxwoods is.
If u can get a suite in the grand pequot towers it cost like 250 a night but u can really relax in the room and the room service is quick and delightfull.
! if u are a budgetted player there are many different gambling rooms, if u only have a couple hundred to spend just keep walking around till u get to a room that isnt booming with gamblers in it , thats where u will find the smaller limits such as 10$ a bet minimums instead of the 25 or 50 $ minimums in the booming rooms.
