Has anyone ever had sleep paralysis or an OBE where you wake up during the night & your body is still asleep?

I just need experiences and what causes it cause it feels pretty scary when it happends.

It has happened to me. I have woke up and cannot move or speak. I try to scream and nothing comes oujt. I have even seen something approach me. TRY your HARDEST to move even a finger. Once you can do that you'll come out of it. I read that it has omething to do with the REM part of sleeping. The body wakes up during a deep sleep and that is why I would see something coming at me. Many others have been through the same thing. Talk to a sleep specialist or a neurologist.

I've had SP many times (most people do). It's natural so no need to worry. You might even experience hypnagogic images and/or sounds. I've never had an OBE. Although, it's easier to have a lucid dream <

Yes..i have almost every night. Either I cant move or breathe or I can see a person literaly on top me ( i know this sounds weird) sayin i love you or wake up..and its just me and my mother in the house...i cant see the persons face..but i sleep walk with my eyes open and dream and stuff so i think im dreamin while im like between awake and asleep and its the paralysis because most of the time i see nothin i just cant move or breathe...
