I've been there. I beware when they say you have nice hair that when they cut th most. They don't GET IT that when it's wet it looks much longer duh people! I get so mad at them after I leave. I all ways ask for just a trim but my hair to my back ends up above my shoulders.

Not much I could do cause I could tie it up any more there wasn't as much to do a bun without bobby pins.

Wet hair brush out in shower, mousse brush through and leave it that about all you can do. Or wear it more straight for a while to get more length out of it.
For that brush it while damp than twist it up and wait till it's almost dry before yo take it back down.

I'm sorry you got a bad stylist. It happens far too off to us curly hair girls, they think cause they curl their straight hair they know how to cut curly hair. NOT.

If it's really really short like above your shoulders, while it's barely damp and brush out, brush in citra shine serum it's one of the cheapest and best when going for a straighter look that you can brush into shape. I told a girl friend in England about it and after she used it on her dried out hair she got cute little curly locks instead. She's been doing that ever since and her hair grew more than it had before. Personally I don't use the serums anymore unless I'm going for a straight look with a hair dryer or big curling iron.

I once visit the salon and they cut my hair an I didn't like it, so i understand you. Maybe for a while you could use a hat or something. Meanwhile your hair will grow again, but this time be careful when you want to cut your hair.

Have you tried to straighten it? Maybe that will make it look better. If not go to a different salon and explain the problem maybe they will be able to fix it. I deffinatly say try straightening it first though. Super sorry and hope something works, I can just imagin how crazy I would be if it happen to me I would just freak. GOOD LUCK

Calm down...you just need some leave-in-conditioner. Maybe something that gives it more volume...like Isoplus [GET IT AT SALLY'S]. Or try some anti-frizz holding gel from Suave Naturals. That way, all you got to do is apply it after you wash your hair and it should keep it frizz-free and maybe a bit wavy/curly if your hair is naturally that way, like mine!

You might try a different salon, they may be able to correct the style and also recommend some products for your type of hair.
