Some adults aren't even considered adults, so I would say no.

NO.....being an adult means taking responsibility for your actions....anyone can make a baby....raising it to be a responsible, productive citizen takes a whole new attitude. You should be an adult before you have a baby or you are cheating yourself and the child. Just take a look at the number of abandoned babies in the world. Were their mothers adults or irresponsible sex participants?

no she would be considered a teen mother untill she reached the age of 18 (or 21 in some places) depending where you live, although i believe aqdulthood is in the level of maturity, so if she was up to the job of being a mother, and was mature even under the legal age id consider her an adult even if the law didnt...but that dosent mean you can go buy alcoholcause i said you were an adult. :P

I don't think so, just because u have an adult responsibililty doesn't mean u are an adult! I believe u are an adult when u start taking care of bills, responsibilities, and basically taking care of urself along with the baby, now that's what I call an adult.

No. I dont think so. The age where people are called adults and are treated as adults is 18 or probably 19 in some places.

No.
You're not an adult legally (in anyone's eyes for that matter) until 18.
But you're not truly an adult until you are living on your own (not with parents) and capable of managing your own life and paying your own bills.
And a person with any maturity (which is supposed to a sign of adulthood) doesn't have a baby as a teenager because she understands that compromises her future opportunities and makes it nearly impossible to be a truly good mother.

No, it takes a lot more than having a baby to make you an adult.

Anyone under 18 must have parental consent If a 16 year old has a baby, she can sign for the baby for medical consent etc. but she can not sign for her self. Her parent would have to sign for her. This is the way it is in Indiana. Not sure about the nation a as a whole. Kind of screwed up, I think.

I don't consider anyone an adult unless they act like an adult.

A person is a legal adult when they turn eighteen, at least that is how it is in Kansas. I think most all of the states in the United States follow this rule.
I think that being an adult is a state of mind really.
