Voluptuous is not a weight or clothing size. It is proportions. Voluptuous is a full figured women. To me, it is a sexy full figured woman....nice curves...full and sexy....

Depending on your height....a 5 ft tall female might appear voluptuous at size 10- she has to show at least a size C on her chest ....a 5.7 ft tall would still be considered not there, yet...because she looks skinnier with her height.

Between skinny and obese. I've always thought it was just a nice way to say someone is plump in all the right places, but close to being too plump. Its a thin line.
