My boybfriend got a snotty attitude about the TV. Just asked him about whether or not he would mind if I changed the channel to see something real quick and he gave me that annoyed look. I try to tell him that he could be more pleasant and he gets an attitude. Furthermore, he tells me that I need to be more understanding, but where do you draw the line between understanding and taking borderline abuse.

Sounds like you're figuring it out, good for you girl. A realtionship is giving and taking, not just one person taking and the other getting taken from. You'll know when it's right, don't put up with anything that is'nt loving.

Just tell him how you feel. Look, I know you're sorta scared [I mean, look at the way he responded when you asked to turn the channel. Imagine how he'd be if you told him he had an attitude!] Say one of those corny lines: I know you're upset...but so am I or whatever... Say: "Look [his name], you want me to be more understanding but do you understand how I feel?" Blah, blah...etc. Hopefully, he'll understand how you feel as well.

JESUS! THAT IS SO ABUSIVE! DUMB THAT ZERO FOR A HERO!

Come on, lady. I'm sure you're smarter than this. Denying you a TV channel is far from abuse.

What kind of stupid question is this? Are you like 12 years old? Grow up, get some maturity, then come back with decent questions.

But think the other way, the picture have two sides.

I really don't see how that was "borderline abuse".
