not the skin, don't put potato skins either. I actually was told by a plumber to not put anything down the disposal except the stuff you rinse off you scraped dishes, he said the other stuff will eventually clog your drains.

It's not really a good idea. Since they are relatively soft, they won't completely wash out of the disposal; they will stick to the blades and walls.

Why Wouldnt it be?? They are smooshy enough to get CHOPPED UP
