I want to respect other people beliefs, but when I see them that they DO NOT respect the belief that god doesn't exitst, why should I respect them? When some christians want to pray in public, despite the fact that their bible say not to pray in public like Pharisees, why should I respect them when they do not respect their book? It is perfectly normal to tell to someone who pray in public, to go to church or at home and respect the belief of other people who believe that god doesn't exits.

How would you define "religious"? Everybody believes in something, for our human nature demands that we have some sort of answer. Evolution is a basic belief for many religions, including Secular Humanism, which gets tax exemption, has ordained ministers, etc. "Religious people" do not threaten with hell. However, Christians believe the Bible IS the inspired word of God, and the result of sin is eternal separation from God; hell. That would be everything opposite of true love and all it's fruits.
THe Bible does not say not to pray in public. That verse was warning against the hypocrisy (which I do not deny is quite rampant in th 'church' today) of the pharisees who were seeking human admiration and love, and were only putting on a show. God judges the heart.
I cannot find a single good reason to respect anothers' beliefs if they are lies and folly. Anyway apart from Jesus Christ leads to death. THat's just truth. It won't change because you believe it otherwise. Someone who really cared for you would do all they could to warn you what's at the other end of the path you're on. Very passionately hating the lies that are holding you captive, I pray that you would know the freedom found in true redemption.
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God"

IF the Bible is a merely human creation
AND religious people are sincerely deceived that it is a communication from God...

(since the bible DOES warn about hell)

Then, why object to them trying to help other people avoid it or protect other people from it...?

By saying that religious people "threaten" with hell, you imply that they do not truly believe and are only using it to manipulate-- in other words, you imply that they ALSO believe that the Bible is a purely human creation.

Now, IF there is no God and no judgment or afterlife, what is so WRONG about lying, stealing, raping and killing...? What makes non-cruelty preferable to cruelty...?

Human laws are based on votes, voters can be deceived. People can make mistakes. Maybe everybody is mistaken to think that there is such a thing as right and wrong. If there is a God, He gets to say what is right and what is wrong, of course. But if there is no God...?

The natural world is cruel. Animals attack and eat each other. The most successful animals (insects, sharks) have been around for bazillionz of years and are just relentless, efficient eating machines. If all we are is animals, why do you expect us to behave different from any other animals...?

Every time a supernova goes off, the planets it has are vaporized. It does not matter if there was life or not. It does not matter whether the planet was polluted or not. It does not matter whether the water was drinkable or the air was breathable.

What does it matter whether the dinosaurs had morals and consciences...? If the human race dies out or evolves into something else, what will it matter whether we had consciences and morals...?

If it won't matter then, why does it matter now?

Why do you get so upset by the behavior of people who believe that there is such a thing as conscience or morals? Do you think that you have some kind of soul, that your conscience is better than theirs...? Do you think that the difference between your morals and their will make any difference in the long run...?

If there is no God, what difference does it make to claim whether there is or not...? What difference does it make to claim that there is a hell or not, or that judgment is coming, or not...?

If this life is all that there is, believers will not have any regrets at having been believers and unbelievers will not have any satisfaction at having been unbelievers... afterward.

So why get upset about it...? How does it hurt you...? Why are you frustrated....?

"You can't have it both ways."

Who in the world is bothering you? If you want me to pray that they will leave you along I will because this is becoming childish! You are adding and taking away from the scriptures or either not understanding what you are reading. The pharisees of that day were men who were scholars that justified everything by works. The bible says "Not by works should any Man boast!" Please understand that the pharisees did this as a devoted job but there whole heart was not in it! God's wants our hearts not lip service routine! The bible does not say we cannot pray in public that is false on ur part. Nobody makes threats of HELL. You are upset with a God that doesn't condone sin because you want to continue in it. Don't blame believers for wanting to live a sinless life which makes you ashamed of yours!

You say that you sincerely believe that the Bible is of human origin. What facts do you base this belief on? Or, is it that you just don't like what it says? Did someone tell you that if you sincerely believe something that that makes it true? Come on, use your brain. Jesus did say that when we pray that we should go into our closet, shut the door, and pray in secret. What if some people who say they are Christians want to pray in public? Whats the big deal? How does that hurt you? All of us in the U.S.A. have the right to freedom of speech. The right to pray in public is part of our right to freedom of speech. What right do you have to go to a family in a restaurant who are thanking God for the food and tell them to stop praying? I would also encourage you to work on your English. If you can't write clearly (which you can't), since we use words to think, then you won' be able to think clearly either. I don't say any of these things to criticize you. It is obvious that that you care about the truth and how people treat each other. But the better able you are to think, the better your life will be. May God bless you in all things all of you life. Even if you don't believe in Him, He believes in you, and loves you more than it is possible for a human being to imagine.

1) We are allowed to pray and public.
2) We obey and respect the Bible.
3) The Pharisees disrespected God.

Hell is a place where nonbelievers of God, the Savior go to. It's everlasting torture and the worst place ever. Satan is a fallen angel from Heaven. He disobeyed God and now he's ruler of Hell. Religious people threaten you with Hell because they want you to change your way of life to believe in God and follow The Ten Commandments. I'm a firm believer in the Christian faith. I pray that you will find your way to believe in the Lord and find your purpose in life. In Jesus name, Amen. God Bless You! Please turn to the Lord. Would you rather believe in nothing and Heaven existed or live your life believing in nothing, and then finding out God does exists and going to Hell?

You are missing the point. The bible says not to pray in public LIKE the Pharisees. It does not say do not pray in public like the PHARISEES. Get it?
If you have the right NOT to pray in public then I have the right TO pray in public. Praying in public is not an offensive action. It is not hostile in nature so it shouldn't bother you. If you don't want to believe in God that is your business, even though the proof for His existance is overwhelming.

First, I respect your right to believe what you want. The Bible does not say that we should not pray in public like the Pharisees. It tells us not to pray and be pious in public and unfaithful and disobedient to God in private. Why is it so hard for people to allow those of us that are christians to pray in public? Who are we hurting? If it makes you uncomfortable, maybe you should ask yourself why.

The theory is that profits inspired by YWHW( G-D ). This does nothing to stop the controversy that has been going on for eons. The bottom line is that no matter what it says, what it all comes down to is FAITH. Simple as that. For those who believe, they see reasons that seem clear as a bell that prove that the Bible was inspired by the Utmost High. For those who don't, the many contradictions only solidify their beliefs that it was written by Essene fanatics, and Newly converted Christians.

My sincere belief is that the Bible is God-inspired, and God used godly people to record what He wants us to read. But I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the Bible.

No threats of hell here!

The bible is real.
It is a wonderful book. Each person has a birth date and a death date and I love the math.

Hell is a human creation.

The bible says to go into your closet and pray.

Jesus was resurrected from sepulchre hell, the cave, a tomb or grave.
