Depends on who is staying with their children, I guess. But, I would think that everyone deserves to have a night out, every once in awhile. I chance to forget all their worries and troubles. But, they shouldn't take advantage either.

I would not use the word curfew, but as a single parent your child should be your first priority. That means while your child is growing up, all your night time activity should stop. You are the example. You need to be the responsible one. However you do need to take care of yourself or your no good for anyone else. Taking care of yourself does not require late nights, but it does require that on occasion you may need someone you trust to watch your child so that you have time to do something that is just for you and no one else.

Adults should not have a curfew but they should also be respectful of others in the household who might wonder where they are if they don't come home at the usual time. A call home to let people know you're not going to be in at the usual time or you're not going to be in at all that night would be greatfullly appreciated by those who might be wondering what happened to you.

NO!!!!! Adults are Adults....as long as your children are in safe hands and are being taken care of than u need time for yourself...single or not...and who's to tell you what time u should be home? Hello!!! If you're old enough to set curfew for your rugrats, than I think you're entirely too old to have your own.

Yes, if someone is volunteering to watch your children for you. If it's a family member, remember they have a life, too. If you're paying someone to watch your kids, then fine, they'll make more money the longer you stay out. But don't dump your kids on grandma and then stay out all night. You need to take responsibility for your own children and don't take advantage of anyone. Remember, everything changes when you have kids. You can't BE a kid when you HAVE kids.

If you live in your parents house they can have any rules they want. It's their house. Who takes care of the child while you're out? If it's the parents then the really have a say in what time you get home. I don't mean to sound harsh but if you don't want rules you need your own place.

As a parent, single or not, your child is your first priority. Why are you going out? You should be home with your child. Shame on you!
