no, it is not.

the congress did not declare war just the president, so not it is not an actual war...

I hate Bush!

It is a Military Engagement approved & supported by Congress on October 16, 2002. Every "war" since WWII has been a Military Engagement including the Korean & Viet Nam Wars

it was a declared war...don't you hear on the media how NOW democrats regret voting for going to war...it was declared ended as well...now it is an occupation if you will until the Iraqi government can stand...we were in japan and Germany for a long time after WW2

No, only Congress can declare war. We've not "declared" war since WW2. This was a decided invasion by Bush and company, ya' know, the "decider".

No. It's a constitutionally illegal war. Congress authorized military force, but not a war, which is what we have now. And don't count on the republican cronies in the supreme court to help you out. When all we have is a conservative like Kennedy to split the court, the US is in real trouble.

Congress actually did vote and declare war......give the president - and i use that term loosely, the power to go to war.
