I have been on the pill for a little over a year. I want to have kids one day, but not any time soon. Will taking birth control for a certain period of time affect my chances of becoming pregnant when I am ready? If so, how long can I take it?

I've never heard of the pill doing that... I was on Depo for about 10 months, and when I got off of that, it took just about 2 years for my body to get back to normal, but I don't think the pill would do that!

I've heard that is not true, on the contrary I've heard that you get pregnant right away as soon as you stop taking the pill.
