I guess you could use an electromagnetic meter or something, but why would you want to? and for that matter, how would you know it's from hell?
I personally prefer to stay as far away as I can!

hell isn't emitting electromagnetic radiation. from all accounts its emitting purely thermal radiation so you'd need an infrared detector. unless something happens and hell freezes over
