Example: If you would live on Earth for a thousand years. The only way you would be able to enjoy, bare etc..would be by doing what you have today. Interest in your purpose as a human. Interest in your immediate environment: oceans; animals; constelations. The minute you stop inquiring, you immediately stop living. We deteriorate mentaly and phisicaly. This is evident in some of our bad choices we make in life. Yes, there is a margin of imperfection, but what we mean is. We loose touch with our values, wants, purpose. The fountain of life? who?
So, where humans created mearly to live a few years tapping a few keys only, then Die?
NO
Please inquire in the following: if you so wish.
Psalm 37:29; length
Romans 5:12 why we die now. Find a Bible, an old version will be best to start. Like the King James Version 1940's or earlier. It has God's true name in them. Psalms 83:18 YHWH
I am so grad people still ask fundamental questions.
Best wishes!

Try this small experiment with me, please.

Close your eyes. Raise your eyebrows slightly until you think you are seeing some bright lights. Take a deep breath or three. Experience your back straighten and your head align on your neck. Take 3 more deep breaths and your head will start to lift up. Now feel a deep gratitude for your life experiences and the lessons you learned so quickly on earth. Are you smiling yet? That is how I want to spend my time in heaven.

God has a greater plan for you than what your purpose is on earth. You will not get bored. This is just the beginning.

God will take care of you and provide you as you go along the path called life. We don't know God's plans. That's beyond us. How one can be three (the trinity) is beyond us.

The Bible says Heaven is the greatest place...Better than you ever would've imagined. You're putting eartly limitations on Heaven.

I used to think that I'd be bored too in heaven. But heaven is heaven - You can do whatever you wish. Could probably create a new group of humans to wonder about their creator too.

There is evidence of [reincarnation] in Jewish thought, apart from Kabbalah, which dates to the time of Rome. According to the Antiquity of the Jews, Book 18, Chapter 1, Number 3, "[The Pharisees] believed that souls have immortal vigor in them [and that the virtuous] shall have power to revive and live again...." (Head, Cranston, Reincarnation, p.26).

The bracketed statements are not necessarily in the original statement, and may be implied understanding of the editors of the text. If you drop the bracketed statements the statement reads something more general: "A sect of Jews from Antiquity, believed that souls have immortal vigor in them, and shall have power to revive and live again...."
This is Jewish understanding from the same era as Jesus Christ (Y'shua). According to Philo Judoeus (20 B.C.E to 54 C.E.), "The air is full of souls; those nearest to earth descending to tied to mortal bodies return to other bodies, desiring to live in them." Flavius Joshep (37 - 100 C.E.), Jewish historian, addressing Jewish troops during the final days of Israeli existence under Rome, says, "Do you not remember that all pure Spirits when they depart out of this life obtain a most holy place in heaven, from whence, in the revelation of ages, they are again sent into pure bodies" (Head, Cranston, Reincarnation, p. 27).

The Zohar, the Book of Splendor, says, "The souls must reenter the absolute substance whence they have emerged. But to accomplish this end they must develop all perfections, the germ of which is planted in them; and if they have not fulfilled this condition during one life, they must commence another, a third, and so forth, until they acquire the condition which fits them for reunion with God" (Head, Cranston, Reincarnation, p. 29).

I don't believe that living in Heaven is "living" in the same sense that we understand it. It's not like... get up, go to work, watch tv, sleep. Time doesn't even register that way. It's just like being immersed in utter love and truth and happiness for all eternity. It's like feeling the depth that your soul was created for.

If you have used the word 'heaven' to mean Paradise, please read the following quotes from the holy Qur'an:

Allah The Most High says: (translation of meaning)

"But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to Gardens under which rivers flow (paradise), abiding therein forever. Therein they shall have Azwâjun Mutahharatun [purified mates or wives (having no menses, stools, urine, etc.)] and We shall admit them to shades wide and ever deepening (paradise)." (An-Nisa 4:57)

And He The Most High says: (translation of meaning)

"And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2)." (Aali Imran 3:133)

And He The Most High says: (translation of meaning)

"Allâh has promised to the believers -men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (Eden paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allâh. That is the supreme success." (At-Tawbah 9:72)

Thus you see greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allâh. That is the supreme success, and therefore no chances of getting boared!

It you compare Heaven to earth I guess you would. You wouldn't be living in a body so everything would be quite different. Souls don't get bored, bodies with minds and emotions get bored.

You don't know what it's like in heaven. The Bible, however, says that we will be in joyful worship and bliss for eternity; doesn't sound boring to me. Being in the light of God's grace is enough to keep me happy for eternity.

Mrs. K - "John Madden if you would be so kind to answer this question."
John Madden (chalk in hand next to chalkboard)- " Now, this is where most humans make their mistakes when it comes to thinking about God, Heaven, Jesus...."

(the real John Madden was not harmed or converted in answering this question)
