It probably brings back some memory you like. I don't mind the smell really, as long as no one eats asparagus or red onions.

The smell isn't as offensive as some other odors given off by humans. There are phermones in pee that stimulate the olfactory glands in the nose the same way perfumes do. Dogs don't have our hangups and they love the smell.
