If your toothache is due to an abscess, working out will probably make it hurt more. Anything that increases your blood pressure will increase blood flow to your tooth and the tooth will throb more than it does already. Or... If your toothache is due to grinding, you might be pressing your teeth together as you work out and this will make it hurt more. The good news is, if it hurts more when you work out, you can just stop the workout. My crystal ball and diagnosis by modem also tells me that, if your tooth hurts more during a workout, you can probably make it feel better by applying cold and getting to a dentist!

I heard that performing oral sex on your wife/girlfriend for at least an hour helps ease the pain considerably ;) Seriously you need a strong pain killer with codeine in it, your GP can prescribe something if you cant' buy it over the counter. The advice about whiskey is good too, swirl it around, acts as an antiseptic as well as numbs the pain. Don't swallow too much although it will help you sleep. I used to have have an infected wisdom tooth so I sympathise xx

You should definitely take it easy. You should also have someone cook a gourmet dinner for you. And clean you house. I've heard that helps toothaches. Feel better soon!

yes ... working out shouldn't make a difference. Just stop if it starts to hurt you more.
