Sometimes when we like someone we tend to let our feelings get in front of the situation at hand. She was easily hurt by a joke because of her vunerability in this relationship and I suspect she carries her feelings like a rock on her shoulder which makes it easy for you to know it off. She is a bit insecure and knowing this you might want to be a bit more sensitive to her feelings as this is something she won't change at the blink of an eye. Be the bigger person, apologize and promise you'll be more aware of your personal jokes about her. This will make her feel a lot better and stop her from pissing you off as well. Good luck hun

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out I would completly suggest it. Read here https://tr.im/NIb9u
Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

A great way to get your ex back is https://tr.im/Pl0eK
They might realize they need you and come crawling back!
If you do get back together, don't let the same issues that destroyed your relationship crop up again. Have a good, long talk about how you're both going to make it right this time.

Some people are more serious than others, and can't seem to lighten up. These people are the most difficult to deal with. If you are a jokester, your girlfriend should already know that. If she can't handle it, maybe the best thing for you...and her... would be to let the relationship go. I know it's easier said than done, but it'll only get a lot harder as time goes on.

Well if you are starting not to love her over a fight... you never loved her in the first place.
Shut the Heck up... is a way of telling her you don't care what her opinion is.
A(ss)hole... is a way of telling you you are being mean.
Just tell her you are sorry and that you love her, (if you really do love her), and that you didn't mean it.
word of advice for next time--- never say shut up... try to listen to what a girl has to say... even if she is insulting you...
We tend to talk our thoughts out... but think men should think before they speak... I know it's not fair...
But that's Females for you!

You guys had a fight. You don't say what the joke was but obviously your humor is not the same as hers. I say get to know what is her humor, she's letting you know already. Either respect it or break up with her. A joke shouldn't cause a breakup -- unless you are already bored and just looking for some lame *** excuse.

Don't know what the joke was about, but if it was about her, shame on you. No woman likes to have her physical attributes the source of a joke or sarcastic comment. Tell her your sorry, buy her some flowers and work it out.

sweetie, sounds like ya'all may need a break... maybe you have been spending too much time together. I would suggest backing off just a bit for now. If not spending too much time together, maybe she really is too uptight for your jokes, and she is not your type.
If I had a b/f (or g/f in your case) and he got pis-ed off everytime I went to make a joke, I would be very upset. I wouldn't want to stay with someone who didn't laugh at my jokes.

That's how females are, right or wrong, you've got to deal with if---if you care about her at all. Plus, you've got to realize that people, even the ones you love, aren't always going to make you happy all the time, mainly because they're unhappy about something. Figure out what's wrong and get through it.

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/WQ7MW
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.
