A friend plans to open an orphanage and school. She invited me to join her because the idea is in harmony with my mission- a camp especially during the summer. She is ready and asked for a transfer.I did too after prayer.Another situation made me realize I needed to leave town. She got her transfer and found out that I will not be granted one.I need to move on and this means resigning. However, sometimes the financial package process can be long .One friend was without money for two years.I still need to get out of town As soon as I resign I will get no salary.Collecting after the last job resignation took eighteen years! I feel like Moses in the wilderness; and I do not want to be stressed out like him.He was close to God and still messed up.Anyone has ideas? Help!

I do live outside the U.S.The employer failed to give me severance pay and all I got was $700 as a 'good faith gesture'. It is too complex. Both my friend and I love jesus and feel His call on our lives. The bottomline is that I have to leave town because the house where I am living is being sold.Renting is not an option without a job.

Pray...God knows what you need and will give it to you if you have Christ in your heart! And if things dont work out, its not because he didnt answer your prayer....its simply because the answer was no....or it could be wait! Have faith cuz!

Prayer and faith that God alone can hold you through this.

Remember, Moses went "through" the wilderness, "through" meaning there is another side.

There is always a "wilderness" experience in Christian's lives right before He is about to do something big, or take you to the "next level" so to speak.

Just remain faithful and God will reveal His plan for you...Waiting on God and obeying His commands are two tests that always accompany....

My last rock and a hard place was my enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. My dad told me that that was where I was the night before I reported to boot camp. He was right and there was nothing I could do. Carry your staff high, lead the people out of their desparation and all I ask is what you have to give, nothing more. Go with your heart and abilities be honest and who knows some of the best things in life are through some of the most trecherous territory. Whatever you do do it 100% and do it because you want to.

its real easy for others to tell you to go ahead and not worry about money..but the unfortunate fact of life is money is neccesary to pay bills and get food and clothing..if leaving your job means that these things are going to be at risk then maybe you dont need the stress all this would cause and the health issues involved with stress..if your friend is trully your friend she will wait for you to be able to get there and will want you to be fit and healthy when you do.. I wish you all the best and hope it works out for you in the end

Sometimes our plans don't match up with His. Make sure you know what He has lined up for you. Remember, put God first, always. Pray and look for answer in the Word. The holy ghost speaks through the passages and verses.

You have to be honest with your friend. If she is your friend she will understand, and she will help you ; that's what friends are for. Anytime you are between a rock and a hard place, you have to liquify in order to sqeeze through. So, liquify (go with the flow), and trust that there are greater powers than yours in control. Good luck !

I am confused. Do you live in the States? It boggles me that it took 18 years to be compensated!
