You can do either- or both. Up to you. They will both lead to a slow, painful death. Although, puking gives you that attractive vomit smell on your breath. Your decision.

Making myself throw up was really difficult for me. Starving yourself will work faster, but it is excrutiatingly painful and frustrating. I would eat a half a sandwich for the whole day and then sadly think to myself that I probably wouldn't let myself eat for another 24 hours. It's a sad and miserable existance. What's worse, after all that misery I put myself through, I gained the weight right back after I got treatment. This happens to everyone with an eating disorder. The human body is not meant to be that thin; it's meant to be thicker and robust. I know that you said you don't want "don't do it" answers, but I must say this: That road you or anybody else is looking towards is a dangerous, unsatisfying, miserable, frustrating, painful path, a vicious cycle, a disease that kills and maims. I have so many psychological and physical disorders because of my eating disorder. It's not a fun road, and once you've started it, it doesn't go away. Ever.

I'm afraid if you ask such a crazy question then you can expect answers that you won't like.
You won't lose weight properly by not eating (in fact, at first, you will bloat out) and making yourself throw up all the time destroys your foodpipe and means that eventually you won't be able to eat at all (unless you count a tube either down your throat or in your navel to pump nutrients into you, which I'm sure you don't want).
If you want to lose weight, then eat the RIGHT foods in the RIGHT amounts, You can eat quite a lot and still lose weight as long as you exercise properly and lead a healthy lifestyle. Not eating or making yourself be sick all the time will KILL you.

I prefer to not eat if I am not hungry. When hungry, I only eat enough of what I really want to eat to ease the hunger.
I do not deny myself food, just limit how much I eat. I do not eat until full, because if you do that, you are generally eating a least a few minutes more food than you need to.
THat feeling of having eaten too much, when you thought you ate until you were full, that comes about 10 minutes after you were done eating.
And yes, the comment about your hair shedding a a fast rate is true. Rather have thin hair than be obese like all the females in my family,

Honestly neither are very good for you. Here are the reasons.
Vomiting or purging can cause problems with your esophagus. Discolored or callused finger joints or backs of the hands – Jamming the fingers down the throat to induce vomiting may damage the outer surfaces of the hands.
Tooth and mouth problems, such as discolored and decalcified teeth, and sensitive, swollen, and bleeding cheeks and gums. These are caused by vitamin deficiencies and by the stomach acid that comes up with vomit.
By not eating it causes your body retain more fat and you lose less weight.
so Neither are good but I will let you make your decision aftet reading what they can do to you
Forced vomiting causes electrolyte imbalances, which can easily lead to life-threatening heart-related problems. The acid in vomit can cause the enamel of teeth to wear down, That same acid also eats away at the lining of the esophagus and may cause gastric rupture. In other words, immediate death.

Why do you want to know? If your over weight then you should eat right and exercise. I lost 80 pounds by eating Lean Cuisine meals and exercising foe 35 minutes everyday. And is ur already skinny at the wieght you should be at then just maintain what ur doing. Don't damage your body by not eating or throwing up because you will only hurt yourself and loved ones.

You are typical of all the lazy people on here who want something for nothing. The "where is a job where I can do nothing and make $1000 a day" or the "How can I lose weight and still eat like a pig and smoke and never exercise".
You can't get something for nothing. YOU are being lazy. Until you quit your laziness, its guaranteed you will be frustrated and fat.
Sounds like a really excellent life you have ahead of you.

well, i was bulemic for 2 days once. hehe. i chose puking because you still get to eat. you may not puke up all the nutiernts either meaning youll probably live longer than if you just dont eat period. plus if youre looking for attention, which most people are who post uestions like yours, bulemia sounds more hardcore and bad ***. the con with this is if you dont puke up everything... there is still food in your system while as if you never eat than well there is nothing in your system and youll lose more. the con with anorexia is that your metabolism slows waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down, more than with bulemia. but its your choice really. hey. if you dotn die first (looking good of course) youll gain it all back plus some once you start eating again (because you well i promise.)
just try meth and cocaine instead dear. youll have enegry and a suprssed appetite. have fun dying,.

not eating "works better". many anorexics are frighteningly thin, but not that many bullimics are.
i'm not telling you not to do it, but if you feel you need to lose weight exercising is a much safer and better way to get good results. when you starve yourself you really mess up your metabolism. it puts your body in a panic and teaches it to store fat, so either you completely starve yourself and eventually die, or when you stop starving yourself you may end up weighing more than you did before because of the screwy metabolism. cardiovascular exercise can tone a person up and make them lose a lot of weight real fast, if you are committed to it...it may not always be fun or easy, but neither is throwing up and being hungry all the time. good luck.

dont be lazy and just have a healthy lifestyle, not eating is like asking a car to run without gasoline.... and throwing up is like making a hole in the gas tank... you'll get really far in life on an empty tank...
