Well if your speakers are worth doing jail time for then sure go for it, or what if you don't win the fight, what's to say the guy doesn't have a gun, knife, etc when you find him. Are speakers worth getting killed for? If it's worth the risk then it's your life, waste it as you see fit.

Contact the authorities. Sometimes, if you have a police report for the theft, your car insurance may cover any losses incurred minus the deductible. The only downside is, the insurance company will rate the equipment with a fair market value - meaning, what was the value of the equipment at the time of loss (depreciated value).
Do not use force - if you do, the thieves can actually press charges against you.

Contact the police.
That is grand larceny .
You may get your belongings back but ask for retribution if the products are damaged.
The court may award that and at least you don't just become a victim. Don't handle it yourself. Use the system the way it is intended but be patient Speedy trials are on TV.

First I would kick there @$$ then get it back. After that Call the police and tell them that he or she stole your stereo and they would not give it back the easy way and wanted the hard way

Well, contact the police, get a copy of the statements and go immediately to your insurance company, and don't, i mean don't waste anytime doing so.... otherwise u could miss out on being reimbursed

You need to report it to the police. That way if you end up injured or dead, they will know which leads to take.

catch him in the act doing it again, then kick his @ss, then call the police. then get your stuff back.
